Maybe your seeing something we cannot because as you say it looked different with your eyes.However to most people myself included it merely looks like airplanes on approach flying at you (seemingly hovering) but turning on course then turning on they're navigational strobes.I grew up next to an airport and this is exactly what I used to see all the time.That being said, keep your camera at the ready-you never know.

@Rewindtouch It really depends on how far away they are relative to the witnesses vantage point.Landing lights are extremely powerful and are visible for many miles away.If they're on a direct heading towards you they seem to be hovering.Then when they turn appear to be slow but its the distance that makes it appear that way.I also saw the marker strobes,clearly aviation lights.

Hmm, I am a believer and a witness, but I think this may be aircraft. As they come towards you on approach to the airfield they tun on their headlights. This would explain why they get brighter as they get lower. Once they turn right their headlights turn away and their nav beacons become visible. As they are now travelling horizontally from right to left you can see their true speed. I have been abused for this hypothesis on other vids. It's just my opinion.. Peace :-)

@andrewtp21 There is no airfield over that way, or in the direction they fly off in. Like I said in the video, they look different on camera, Aircraft lights aren't as bright and a different colour. I've even seen these things up close flying near to my house (Within 100 meters), flying out of woodland on the other side of the valley, and in the hills behind my house. So I know they're not conventional aerial vehicles. Cheers for the comment though mate ; )

@UFOshropshireUK , what you say is astounding. You have actually seen spheres passing within 100 meters of your house? What do you make of them, mate? Could they be a secret development of the Royal Air Force? Or of another origin,of which we don't know? Just asking because you have witnessed these things.

It will probably be a Quadrotor or similar in GPS & altitude hold - check my videos out. You can fly these things for upto 40minutes, they are quiet, and often have high powered 1-3W LED's on them, flashing or otherwise. I often fly mine at night time, but I am based in Kent.

Anyway, I live down in South Wales, a couple of years ago i used to play football for the local team. When we went training on Wednesday nights I always would see one of those orange lights fly over, I could tell it wasnt a plane or a helicopter as it made no noise at all. The strange thing was how it was there at exactly the same times. I've done some research and found nothing. Can anyone explain what these lights were??

I am a believer, but this is a chinese lantern. Its increase in pace is it descending as it runs out of fuel - notice its dimmer appearance.

@polopowered Lanterns rise up, an they wouldn't fly that far off into the distance, an if you look carefully you can see them flashing. Plus they would both move at the same time, an not independently.

@dino6861 you are correct , they travel in same coloured pairs! there were dozens of them near the derby pennines by the countryside hovering a few feet above the ground, which my friend caught on film for nearly 30 minutes.

What it looks like to me, pure theory here, is could the orange glow be that of a craft entering the atmosphere. This is why it appears to be moving slowly as it is coming down towards the ground and then when it enters the atmosphere the glow disappears and is replaced by the running lights as it takes flight and then appears to move faster as it is flying away?

No offense intended, but I have two criticisms:

First- I live near Sky Harbor in Phoenix, and I see this exact thing all the time, it's planes coming toward you, then turning.

Second- I could take you more seriously if you learned grammar.

Don't get me wrong...I see orbs very often, sometimes a couple hundred feet right over my head, but I also see lots of planes and jets. Learn to distinguish, because misidentification makes the phenomena seem like hoaxes.

@HoofandHorn 1. There are no airports near here, the closest that are in that direction are Liverpool and Manchester. These craft are flying way too low to be landing at either of those Airports. 2. If they were Planes heading straight towards me, wouldn't they have navigational lights on the wings? Because I can't see any... looking closely I can't even see wings! 3. They don't seem to turn at all. If they are Planes, they must be moving sideways.

@UFOshropshireUK There doesn't have to be airports for there to be airplanes. I see planes doing this all the time. The "navigational lights" aren't visible until the overpowering forelights are turned away...then you can clearly see the blinking. Get some kind of binoculars or telescope, set the exposure on your camera to darker, then do this again. It becomes painfully obvious.

MAN I SAW SAME thing last year 1.5 in Croatia.. we were in night fishing.. 10 of us saw thing like that flying.. it just appeard orange light above us.. it was moving for about 20 secs and then was gone i tryed to tape it with my cellphone but nothing.. it was K800i with 3.0 pixels.. and it wasn't first time i see that.. i saw UFO 3 times in my life for now..

I've seen an object floating by a street light above I-20/59 E in Birmingham, Alabama tonight. I was going around the loop to get on the interstate and I seen an object w/o sound floating next to a street light. On the back of the object it had like a crate or something similar to a cube (not a tail wing like a heli has before people jump to that conclusion) as far as I could tell. I rolled down my window to get a better look almost running off the road....

@crazydaze86 ran out of room typing. as I was looking I almost ran off the loop to get on the interstate, then a diesel was stopped under the bridge and I almost ran into it, but as the diesel started to go and we passed under the bridge I guess the object changed shape and looked as though it was a plane. The whole time it was no more than 100 meters above me. It was flying low so I thought it was attempting to land at the airport, however, it went the opposite direction of it. No sound heard

ive told alison ive seen two ufos within 100 feet , 1978 diamond shape, 2008 triangle shape. in 78 covered a mile from hover position over high tension lines and overflew me in 7 seconds..silent ..spotlighted me as it came toward me..flew directly over me, their was to my surprise alot of wind turbulence, blew my clothes and hair back ..unbelievalbe manuverability..they can litterly do a 90 turn in any direction at tremendous speed..5 witness, reported and interviewed by state police?no answers
