Access to a wifi network - you'll need a wireless router/access point - a device that sends out a wireless signal that your PSP can connect to.

If your DLink thing is a wireless router/access point, the PSP should see its SSID automatically. How far away depends on many factors - distance from the router/AP, intervening wall thicknesses etc. can all impact.

if you have broadband click on scan when it asks you for your ssid, and a 2wire... should be a signal at 100% if you are close to your modem, click on that and go to the next step, look for the ten digit number on your modem and put it where it asks to put in the wep key, put the settings on easy, and thats it.

1. you need to pick the connection

2. you need to put click wep

3. there will be a blank line press it

4. enter your wep key

5. press easy

6. then save

if you do not know your wep key, reset your router and make a new one.

if you do not have router, get one that is wireless

Here's a Thought Everyone! buy a "Wifi Max for the PSP" or"Thrustmasters Wifi USB Key.Both of these items will turn your computer into an access point.I rather use this than a expensive ass wirless router. P.s. For ppl who don't have wirless router.
