Correct Pronunciation of the Divine Name. Jehovah is the best known English pronunciation of the divine name, although Yahweh is favored by most Hebrew scholars. The oldest Hebrew manuscripts present the name in the form of four consonants, commonly called the Tetragrammaton (from Greek te·tra-, meaning four, and gram′ma, letter). These four letters (written from right to left) are יהוה and may be transliterated into English as YHWH (or, JHVH)
i didnt say I didnt like this. Just to me now religions are mythical story telling. It would be like reading fairy tale books. they have a lot of good stories in them and they are mixed with a bit of history but far as stressing out over If Im going to hell. I am building my heaven right here within me. namaste an blessed be. no offence to anyone who feels there religious books are to be worshipped.
"We have not even to risk the adventure alone, for the heroes of all time have gone before us. The labyrinth is thoroughly known. We have only to follow the thread of the hero path. And where we had thought to find an abomination, we shall find a god; and where we had thought to slay another we shall slay ourselves; where we had thought to travel outward, we shall come to the center of our own existence; and where we had thought to be alone, we shall be with all the world."- Joseph Campbell
Your right! I should be watching TV and playing video games. Such things are way more exciting then crummy ol literature. Anyways thanks for watching a video you didn't like and helping push up the view count. I need about a thousand more people like you. Believe me I know they are out there.
oh but those are not the complete dead sea scrolls. the complete ones are scheduled to be released onto the internet in 2010. the book you have has excluded many of the destroyed peices which had to be peiced together using many many digital pictures and these fragments placed back together. they are very very delicate.
study egyptian mythology, cananite mythology, the dead sea scrolls, palastinian mythology (specifically mitraism) then the bible. now that is perspective.
and the name of god apear there 7000 times and his name is jehovah and not LORD, that is showing that god is jehovah and he is the only one, jesus is the christ his son the first born of all creation, that means the no body created god cause he always was!
but jesus was created by jehovah the god of the univers, and if you want to know the truth you got to take atvantage on the hebrew scrolls.
still got nothing but the words of MEN. Read the actual bible, its filled with ridiculous claims that any half elightened human can cast out as total nonsense. Josephus writings are forged documents, thats long established. The Bible is full or hate and little rules to enslave the human mind..... religion is nothing but mind control and they people of today can do without such garbage.
Your in the wrong pasture sheep. The RRS videos are on the other channel. Read the literature. Such dummies talk about science in the same way, not researching and not knowing anything about it. You might be in the same boat on the other side concerning religious literature. The study of texts and culture is called anthropology.
Unless you are one of those "dummies" all this proves what Christ said was right!
Or else why would it have worked so well for others, and others ....?
Anyone using this information to suggest that Christ's story was a myth is just not thinking.
Now there's a "dummy" as the logic is quite simple:if it works it WORKS!
Another very important issue is notice the references to G-d the Mother. It's all over the place in different PEACEFUL(!) cultures overtaken by warrior "MACHO" tribes!
Hi Wayman, I am just curios..why the intereste in compairative texts, I mean, what is the real value gained by it except to say 'look other people said similar things'? nothing you have said have taken away from the words of Christ, and comparing texts does not mean we access the wisdom which is written in them..I am just unclear as to your aim with this.
Some "people" think that VenomFangX is sent by God to do "his(VFX's) work," but what about wayman29? He is the real prophet who preaches respect and common sense!
Most people understand that the dead sea scrolls are a unique artefact and a very interesting piece of cultural history. But surely you are not suggesting that this has anything to do with substantiating modern interpretations of related concepts and texts ?
No, No I am not. I am pointing out that such usage existed in literary format before the composition of the NT and before the teachings of Christ. Modern NT theology is way off. Excellent question.
Yes there were plenty of exchanges happening. Excellent observation! See the Video "Dating the Gospels Too Early" by the user ForBibletruth. He makes some excellent points on the topic.
I am picking this up today! Man, I want to hang with you and Uzi and have a beer! Do you drink beer? Well, anyway. Keep making these videos. I think this is informative.
I am one of the dummies. I read somewhere that suggested you do religious reading when you first rise. I know most people do this to set their day right. I think I will do this because i have a better out look in the morning. As the day wears on I take silly things on here far too seriously. Alot of people i know who consider themselves Christian have not read the whole bible. I still think it will be good for me to read it first through without interference of others interpretations.

Very interesting on how how the Dead Sea Scroll beatitudes are very similar to the EightFold Path, more so than the Bible's beatitudes.
