Baseball is cool (georgie carlin made some very funny comments compairing the two) but "the beautiful game" UK-football (soccer) once in a while is more entertaining than any other game. @camisa0ch0 both sports are great games, but your analyses of scoring isn't quite true because 28-21 would be equal to 4-3 which is a very high score for soccer/football. The reason American's scoring in theire game is there are many ways to score, not just getting the ball in the opponent's end zone(touch down) which is worth 7, but field goals(Kicking the ball through the uprights) is 3 points a safety is 2 points and many more. All these ways to score is what creates the strategy of the game.

@lottdominique the thing about Nfl is that the players are used to taking a break every 5 seconds football takes only 1 regulated break in a match players have to be able to run with the football at there feet not there hands which is a lot easier and real football involves a lot of skill and real football requires players to play both defense and offence and only 3 subs in total and finally real football requires better athletes than american sports real football rules get over it

@ledeter08 it's no where as easy as it looks. If you play it thinking that all you have to do is rehearse, you'll find yourself saying "oh shit where'd the defender come from?" "oh shit he has the ball" "oh shit he got a TD". And there's MUCH more strategy than meets the eye. Quarterbacks also need to learn the red the defensive setup before th snap, an extremely difficult skill to learn
@Ledeter08 not true. You need to memorize all the plays, but after the snap it's a free for all. The QB has about 3 seconds to find an open receiver and throw it to him, the receivers need to make a new route if they're not open...it's all about coordinating. If you don't coordinate, you won't get any points. Every position requires skill, you can't say it's skillless until you've played it. In a league I mean not just backyard football

I don't see how Soccer (football) players are "smart and sharp enough to think on their feet and strategize", considering all they do is run back and forth the field constantly until someone gets lucky enough to kick a shot. In Gridiron (American football), there is more than one way to score. Touchdowns and field goals. Gridiron is sort of like a game of chess, each player plays a role and every player needs to cooperate to make a play. Anyways, I'm sure I lost you with all that strategy talk.

Baseball is cool (georgie carlin made some very funny comments compairing the two) but "the beautiful game" UK-football (soccer) once in a while is more entertaining than any other game. @camisa0ch0 both sports are great games, but your analyses of scoring isn't quite true because 28-21 would be equal to 4-3 which is a very high score for soccer/football. The reason American's scoring in theire game is there are many ways to score, not just getting the ball in the opponent's end zone(touch down) which is worth 7, but field goals(Kicking the ball through the uprights) is 3 points a safety is 2 points and many more. All these ways to score is what creates the strategy of the game.

@ledeter08 it's no where as easy as it looks. If you play it thinking that all you have to do is rehearse, you'll find yourself saying "oh shit where'd the defender come from?" "oh shit he has the ball" "oh shit he got a TD". And there's MUCH more strategy than meets the eye. Quarterbacks also need to learn the red the defensive setup before th snap, an extremely difficult skill to learn

@Ledeter08 not true. You need to memorize all the plays, but after the snap it's a free for all. The QB has about 3 seconds to find an open receiver and throw it to him, the receivers need to make a new route if they're not open...it's all about coordinating. If you don't coordinate, you won't get any points. Every position requires skill, you can't say it's skillless until you've played it. In a league I mean not just backyard football

@aldeng837 You got a QB who knows the plays and the routes the players go for.It's not a friggen science. I'ts all been rehearsed.. For example.. the QB and the WR has done rehearsal. With the simple look the QB knows where the WR is going. Other than that, it's piss easy to understand. Many Gridiron fans try to make it out like Gridiron is some strategic wonder. In football terms, its all a bunch of set pieces. You say coordination in teamwork, search TIKI TAKA passing game

Plays are creative, its labeled as a stratagy sport for Crists sake. And 310 lbs my ass its more like 240 and its only that because of linemen, who are reguired to be wide because of their position. Also just because there over weight doesnt meen they're out of shape. And the baseball thing, your basicaly sayin if anyone walks out on the feild and swings at a ball they have a 3 in 10 percent chance of hitting it which is BULLSHIT

American football requires SO MUCH more strategy on the spot than soccer. Too many things to list. Except linemen, they don't have to think. Btw this fat football pictures were HIGH SCHOOL kids trying out for the team, OBVIOUSLY not getting on the team. Except the Mich State guy, he was trying out for college. I don't see how Soccer (football) players are "smart and sharp enough to think on their feet and strategize", considering all they do is run back and forth the field constantly until someone gets lucky enough to kick a shot. In Gridiron (American football), there is more than one way to score. Touchdowns and field goals. Gridiron is sort of like a game of chess, each player plays a role and every player needs to cooperate to make a play. Anyways, I'm sure I lost you with all that strategy talk.
