  • You just took both songs and caused them to become +100 times better! Congratzzz...

  • AMAZING. :O

  • ....is it ME or does J-Lo sing EVERYTHING in the SAME key? (I thought Beyonce' was the only one that DID that.)

  • OH MY GOD where I can I get the MP3 for this? This is amazing!!!!

  • this is so perfect!!

    beautiful songs!!!

  • this is sooooooo excellent music :)

  • demasiado bueno el video..........muy bueno........mis dos canciones favoritas y por supuesto j-lo

  • Extraordinary. The similarity between songs is uncanny. Am surprised it hasn't gone to court as a case of plagiarism!

  • haha!!

  • And there's another one here:

    watch?v=Ln5sJR-XP_4

    Obviously an effective chord sequence...

  • Ever compared the intro's of Waiting For Tonight and The Zephyr Song? Also quite curious...

  • You can't sue people for using the same chord sequences as others. The vocal melodies aren't similar at all really.

I think that "Waiting for tonight" became a better song by doing this. I've got both the "Savage Garden" and the "J.Lo" albums in my collection, so I kind of like this mix.

  • I see what you mean, but I was thinking of the case involving Huey Lewis & The News. They sued Ray Parker Jnr for stealing one of their songs when he wrote "Ghostbusters". Melodies quite different, but accompaniment almost identical...

  • Oh, okey, that's strange. Never heard of such a thing. Might have been some melodies in the accompaniment which has similar though I guess, 'cause there are quite a lot of songs which don't only include chords but also some melodies to go with that, which accompanies the vocals. >

  • > If you record a song with the same chords as f.e. "Sweet child o' mine" on an acoustic guitar, I don't see how you could get sued, but if you add a melody played on f.e. piano which is almost identical to the guitar riff opening the song, you probably will get sued. So I guess it's about melodies overall; if they're played on pianos or sung by your voice doesn't really matter I guess. But the chords are always free to use! ;D

  • Oops...it's supposed to be "Which WAS similar".

  • I can't believe this! I think it's kind of weird but it's fine!

  • oMF i loceo this! i love it! jen's voice sounds very rocker-ish.

  • Awesome! :)

  • i actually enjoyed this!

  • Well, I liked it.
