So the way way you solve the crime of illegal immigration is to make everyone here illegally legal. You give them all ID cards and benefits and let them stay. Gee, I wonder why this tough approach that Guliani wants has only led to more people coming here illegally.
He also said if you're here illegally he wants you to come to New York. Now he's saying he's always been tough on illegals and would solve the problem.
