  • A FACT is that many lunar years have 13 months-where scripture shows us a year has only twelve months.

And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.I K 4.7

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.Rev22.2

  • I Chronicles 27.1-15

1 Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit , the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.

    ....

15 The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

  • Esther

2 12 Now when every maid' turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit , six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;)

Many commentators consider this as a year.

  • The first of Abib and the first of Nisan can

never be on the same day. The closest they could ever be would be one day apart and that would happen only when the new moon immediately followed the vernal equinox. In such a case, the first of Abib would be the next day (the day after the new moon). The furthest apart they could be would be thirty days. Could this be the reason there is some controversy over Christs Passover last Meal?

    Matthew 26:18-21 / John 18:28

  • Ge 7.11 flood water came on the second month on the seventeenth day & Ge 8.4 tells the seventeenth day - seventh month that the ark rested upon a mountain. This is a five month period of time. Ge 8.3 & 7.24 the waters prevailed upon the earth for 150 days-5 months equals thirty days/month. If Gods going by a lunar calendar, five months would have been equal to 147 or 148 days depending on whether or not the first month had 29 or 30 days. Our Current counting of time is askew with Gods timetable.

  • How do you know if Paul is a true apostle? Paul apparently lived during time of Christ, but Christ did not appoint him. Christ teaches that after he is gone if anyone tells them that they saw Christ anywhere: do not believe them. But that's what Paul tells us. Pauls says Christ appeared to him and appointed him. Furthermore, Paul's doctrines are radically different to what Christ taught.

Anyways, the truth of the matter is that we dont know the whole truth, but maybe one day we will.

  • Great question about Paul and one many Christians have probably asked. A disciple named Ananias was told by God in a vision to go find 'Saul' who had been blinded. Everything God told Ananias was just as God told him, including where to go find Saul(Acts 9). That is very convincing. Then we have Peter confirming in his letter that Paul is a 'dear brother'. Also we see the radical change only Jesus can achieve. Paul goes from Christian killer to Christian Martyr. Hope this helps. Bless.

  • If you read up on the history of 2 Peter, you'll realize that there is no solid evidence proving Peter's authorship. Where i'm from in Asia, they didnt even know about Paul until couple hundred years ago when europeans invaded and imposed their version of Christianity on the locals. Sitting here in 21st century, we dont truly have an understanding how modern day Bible came to be. I think if we did, considering human nature, it would most definately be disturbing. Wise to keep an open mind

  • I always felt odd one out whenever I quoted from Tenach.

  • Question... in what year are according to the jewish calendar...?

  • Year 5768. Richard, do you believe the Jewish calendar year 5768 is correct?

  • Approximation

    Day 1- 1st millenia (Adam)

Day 2- 2nd millenia (Ending in Flood)

    Day 3- 3rd millenia (Abraham)

    Day 4- 4th millenia (Jesus)

    Day 5- 5th millenia (Harvest)

    Day 6- 6th millenia (Harvest)(currently coming to a close)

Day 7- 7th millenia (Jesus ruling on earth)

(Week ENDS with a small season where Satan is released to decieve the nations YET thousand year reign must already be COMPLETED.)

  • For this all to END at the END of day 7, the thousand year reign of Christ and His saints must be completed BEFORE Satans short season Rev 20:3. This could mean the thousand year reign on earth begins BEFORE the 6th millenia ENDS and the 7th millenia BEGINS.

  • No! I feel certain the Jewish calendar is Not correct.

No one knows the exact year but it is more likely to be about 5981 - leaving us less than 20 years. A biblically based guess!

  • Very interesting. I've wondered about the accuracy of their date.

  • It's not, and if you study the day when it begins, and study passover, and get them to agree with scripture to where the Exodus is in harmony with TIME, then you will see the day begins at Noon-Noon.

The Sun begins it's setting at Noon. From Noon to Midnight we have "Evening" and Mindnight to Noon, we have "Morning". Thus we have 2am as 2 in the morning. Night starts at Dusk/Dark til daylight / Light. So there is Evening and Morning both encompass both light and darkness but day and night not.

  • According to the Bible the first day of the year is Abib 1 not January 1. According to God's timetable, Abib 1 begins on the vernal equinox, at high noon, when the sun is at it's zenith. A sundial can be used to find the beginning of the year and the 1⁄4 day error is automatically corrected at high noon; there is no leap year on God's calendar. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.(I Corinthians 14:33)

  • The EXACT year is 45 years after the 1290 days, which ends when the Jews are restored to their homeland, 1947. So the EXACT year of the second coming is 1992. We don't need the ancient Jewish calendar to determine the date. We can also date the year via 29 CE, the baptism of Christ. Christ fulfills the 70th week both times, the 1st and 2nd coming. That means 33-36CE and 1989-1996. We must be AWAKE.

  • unfortunately, that's how false doctrines are born. they take a couple of verses here and there and suddenly they come up with a new "revelation".

  • Study the Last Days, the last day, the End of the age, the lenght of a day to God, the sabbath-rest, the seventh day - the whole thing and see what you come up with. It seems to point to the obvious. But at this point I would say this is a theory, not a doctrine. But it may make you wonder about where we are today, with God's appointed times?

Plus the only time in history that this would seem to make total sence is - NOW.

  • I know you are trying to educate people and I apreciate your work... I will try to gently correct you as our Lord told us to do...

After the 1000 years of Peace... The devil again stirs up trouble with Gog and Magog... So right there you know that Jesus is not coming back Until then...There are actually 3 comings of Christ His birth, His spiritual return in 2012(Era Of peace) and the Return in the clouds before the final Judgement

  • The brightness of Jesus coming is what destroys the anti-christ. According to your reasoning, the anti-christ is not destroyed until the end of the 1000 years. Yet Daniel tells us a/c's power to overcome the saints is limited to 1260 days. Daniel also says the a/c will have power until the Ancient of Days (Jesus) comes. How do you reconcile this?

  • Amen Richard.

  • What daniel is talking about and where we are now (Rev 6-20 )Are TWO seperate events... Heres proof Where is the 7 year agreement made with the antichrist?, Where is the temple in Jerusalem being built?, Where is the abomination of desolation? I have read MANY books written in the first century AD All of these doctors of the church wrote about 3 comings of Jesus. Surely you cant be so PRideful as to think these early writers(some who knew the apostle John) were wrong?

  • Since there is not yet a fourth Kingdom - Daniel 2,7,8. The Antichrist is still future and the last 7 years are still future. The Temple is as you can see today is still future.

Only Pre-Trib dispensationalist speak of 3 comings. Some say the last 2 Comings are really a two part second coming.

It doesn't matter what anyone says. The Bible describes only ONE Second Coming. Christ said, after the Tribulation, we will see the Son of Man Coming on the Clouds.
