To those watching this video: This tweak works but be careful. I got to Newmoon island in fake sinnoh and used the explorer kit. I did exactly what Auburn did but my game blacked out and I couldn't do anything. I think I have to start a new file. When you get to Newmoon in fake sinnoh DO NOT save. Go inside, get Darkrai, use fly to escape or so and then save.

You need to add this to your video. Make sure you have the Pal Pad before you start tweaking. Because halfway through the first 60,000 steps, it stopped me and went through the text of when you first walk into a pokemon center's lower floor. I just ignored it and finished the glitch out and got my game stuck. DONT DO THAT. Make sure you have the Pal Pad BEFORE you do this glitch. When I redid this glitch after getting the Pal Pad, it worked perfectly.
And it might not, I've only had one time around with this, but I would say that one should still get the pal pad before doing this glitch, just in case.
i know how to get exp faster. put 2 pokemons in the daycare and do the void thing follow the vid 5 minutes. when you take the bycicle ride 65,400 west then after that 64,840. After you have done that save in newmoon island or in fullmoon island. I had a lv 1 pokemon and it became lv 51 after that.
Hey I have a question , If I do the glitch till the end and catch darkrai , then I trade darkrai into another game so the darkrai would be 100 % safe. @ShadowOne333 when you find it change it to know and then you will see that you can now manually enter the primary and secondary dns codes. when you change them they need to match, so if you put 119.234.026.129 as the primary code that also needs to be the secondary code.
Once you enter the codes do a connection test to make sure they work and save the settings!
You can google DNS codes but a lot of them are dead
119.234.026.129 is a shiny distribution, if you need more codes/help message me
@ShadowOne333 You have wifi, right? Assuming you have traded over gts before, I'm going to get straight to the point. When you turn your game on, before you start the game, at the menu go to nintendo wfc settings. Choose connection 1 and look for 'auto obtain dns'
To the owner of the video, add this as an nnotatino on the video:
If your game freezes after 236 steps to the north, go back to Jubilife and enter the Underground with the Explorers Kit, then try again. You must have entered the Underground so it doesn't freeze anymore.
This works on 3DS I only did the part where you make the void but I don't need this glitch when I had my DSi I used AR and got him but if you do it on 3DS I recommend using the analog stick

OK twice now I've gotten just over 61,000 steps on the second long stretch and my character has just stopped for no apparent reason. The back ground music is still playing properly but none of my buttons work. What am I doing wrong?

It just takes time and luck. Like the video shows, your game can either freeze, or have an unenterable void. You just have to keep trying (took me at least 30 tries)
the method shown is the safest, but keep in mind that there is no 100% safe way to do this (i managed it and it did not hurt my file. if you follow the instructions perfectly then you should be ok)

Got them both, works just fine. For the people asking the same question all the time, it does work in every version of Diamond and Pearl, just not Platinum. Took me 3 tries to get Darkrai, first time the game froze, 2nd time I ended up in an elevator but 3rd time it worked just fine, even got Darkrai in a regular Pokeball.
Fucking glitch almost messed up my game. By any chance doe it work in platinum. I tryed the bicycle thing and my game almost got fucked up. There is no "blackness"

Something that i didn't say was that when i finished walking 65500 steps, i found water but it wasn't new moon island. I looked for it, then i saved the game. Now every time i wanna continue tha game, the screen gets black

as for me, it all went cool until the last part, the 65k steps up, my character dissapeared, so I went back to a turnback cave and used escape rope lol.
omg, almost broke my game. i somehow got into the lighthouse in sunnyshore so i turned it off and back on with a black screen in jubilife. so i ran around til i made it back into the real jubilife, but with a black screen still, but i was able to open my menu so i taught my charizard dig and kept walking til i was in a cave section, wayward cave, and then i used it, brought me back to the start :)
@0rawr021 LOL, that sounds like the void I used to get Shaymin. For some reason, I got the slowbiking void while fastbiking. The void I'm using to get Darkrai right now looks like the one Auburn got in this video.
this actually works, i caught both darkrai and shaymin this way. A small tip if you want to do this, put two low level pokemon in the daycare. The game loses all sense of time so by the time your done, they will be really high levels. I now have two more level hundreds due to this loss of all sense of time :)
i was close but when i got to the jubilife area (fullmoon) i went right to newmoon (2) but the jubilife music was still on and i couldn't do the explorer kit thing on the grass. any tips? i think ill just do exactly what the video did exactly so i get it right. the shaymin tweak worked for me. why not the darkrai tweak?

Something that i didn't say was that when i finished walking 65500 steps, i found water but it wasn't new moon island. I looked for it, then i saved the game. Now every time i wanna continue tha game, the screen gets black

well....i have done it correctly and when i saved out of the place where darkrai is(with the explorer's kit) the whole screen went black and i couldnt see me!!!of cource i dont know what to do.....i maybe ruined the game!!!ANY HELP???

@ganias13 You properly saved in the mystery zone, you may only usethe Explorer Kit in the New moon island zone that says Jubilife city

also with shaymin, got frozen at 59k steps and with darkrai at 58k steps it froze, so i guess there's a problem with my game card? lol

omg, almost broke my game. i somehow got into the lighthouse in sunnyshore so i turned it off and back on with a black screen in jubilife. so i ran around til i made it back into the real jubilife, but with a black screen still, but i was able to open my menu so i taught my charizard dig and kept walking til i was in a cave section, wayward cave, and then i used it, brought me back to the start :)

@0rawr021 LOL, that sounds like the void I used to get Shaymin. For some reason, I got the slowbiking void while fastbiking. The void I'm using to get Darkrai right now looks like the one Auburn got in this video.
Were you using a DS Lite by any chance?

How do i get this "darkness", the black fields?
it just won't work on my diamond edition 'cause there are no black places?!

this actually works, i caught both darkrai and shaymin this way. A small tip if you want to do this, put two low level pokemon in the daycare. The game loses all sense of time so by the time your done, they will be really high levels. I now have two more level hundreds due to this loss of all sense of time :)

i was close but when i got to the jubilife area (fullmoon) i went right to newmoon (2) but the jubilife music was still on and i couldn't do the explorer kit thing on the grass. any tips? i think ill just do exactly what the video did exactly so i get it right. the shaymin tweak worked for me. why not the darkrai tweak?
