  • Hey @panzercat why dont you go fuck yourself! America is the true superpower in the world. Why dont you come over to my house so you can suck my made in America dick!

  • @totalwarfan1000 Will you provide the magnifying glass you stupid Yankee thicko!

  • I'm fed up with the way he says 'empire' :'emPAAARRRRRR'

  • India is obviously the most civilized country in the world or they would have killed every Englishman that set foot on their soil.Much to polite as a society.

  • @panzercat1939 I completely agree!!

  • @panzercat1939 But they didn't thank god! Otherwise there would have been a far less enriched Empire, And by the time world war 1 & 2 came along.. Mush of the world would be speaking German right now!

I don't care Americans say or anyone else, The might of the empire (Including the massive input from India) Saved the worlds asses from the Nazis! It got spent up, broken down and totally dissolved during those wars... And played a vital role in holding them back.

  • @TheLiberalKnight then everyone will hate china. . .

  • @panzercat1939 lol, no.

  • @panzercat1939 Im sure if they had the power of looking into the future they would have.

  • Why didn't the British merge completely with the Indians?

  • @buldhana coz we might be great traders, great soldiers and great artisans but we are still brown skinned !!

  • @therahulrs

India was rich, beyond rich but it was stagnant and that is why it fell to a tiny country like Britain. In all honesty, the fact that the British were able to take over India shows you how arrogant the Indians were back then. Can't look down on us now, can you?

  • @ValiantVendetta the key is that there was no india then - India is the Indo-British merger. Mugal, Marata, Mysore. . .India was not united.

  • @buldhana 'merging' with the Dutch was necessary because they were spanking us, can't say the same here. It wasn't racism either, if anything the British had an inferiority complex towards the more 'civilised' indians, the superiority complex would come later.

Didn't think I'd like Ferguson, but i do. His bias is well conceited but not really as thought provoking as one would expect. Still he is a very noteworthy academic.

  • @justnotcricket What do you mean by 'bias'? Ferguson's analysis is spot on, in my opinion. What 'bias' do you claim to discern in what he says?

  • I wonder if these old money families still have there wealth? Do they still reside in mansions?

  • @azulalover97 yes they do

  • he doesn't say that the nabobs initially weren't allowed to trade on their own behalf, they were factors, agents of the East India Company.
