Love the choros man. Not crazy about the bass mallet, only out of fear for that beautiful instrument but still sounds great dude. If you don't mind my irrelevant personal opinion, you could probably save any rubato for the very end and consider a more conservative, steady tempo throughout. messing with the time too much can not only detract from the flow of the overall form but also the characteristic dance quality of this music (imagine pandeiro acc.) - just an opinion. thanks for sharing!
I thought it was great. I noticed you took some liberties with the form and improvised a little with the rhythms, much like the David Hall recording. Had you listened to that recording?
Thank you! And yes I have David Hall's recording - it is excellent with all the accompaniment. If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure I did the form of the piece just like David Halls because I liked it better than the original.
