If you really like this song, check out the other live version of it by them at another outdoor event, the one where luke says "so i know its early, and i know its whet, but lets have it on this one!" at the beginning, its even better in my opinion. You can really feel the music.

Luke plays on a custom built James Trussart Deluxe Steelcaster. with a rosewood neck (not only the fingerboard). If you are planning to buy one those guitars are about 3000 bugs.

umm i met them all last night after their amazing show in chicago. max is defintely back. i have pics with him! i held lukes hand while he stood in front of me on the barricade. that was lovely :-)

yeah, i saw them in DC 2 weeks ago, and my friend, (she's not as into the kooks as i am) said, "look! it's max!" and i laughed and said max quit the band. And then, just as illinois was leaving the stage, max's head popped out! it was hilarious. I am so glad he's back, i was afraid he'd get sick though (he drank a lot during the show, hehe).

Hugh is indeed a very good guitarist. I've read somewhere that the critic thought that Luke holds the group together, that he is the kooks. But I would be very dissapointed in a 'The Kooks' without Hugh.
