OMG I think this is one of the best looking vehicles Cadillac has made! Absolutely beautiful car in black on black! I love mine :) parts are ridiculously priced, my driver side tail light got clipped, $10,000 in damages! (there was significant damages to the trunk, but that was still a pretty high to repair!) other than that, no complaints at all!

I think the reason you don't see any on the road is due to depreciation. No car is a good investment, but in Canada, this car starts at 105K and I have seen 2006's with less than 25K miles for around 37K. Crazy depreciation... until they solve this issue, people will stay with the Germans and Japanese

I couldn't agree more. It's about $5,000 less than the M5 and $10,000 less than the E63. Who cares if it's weaker? It's luxurious, and gets to 60mph in 4.5 seconds. That's just 0.1 second under the M5, and 0.2 under the E63. It's an excellent car.

I agree; I purchased a Stealth Gray STS-V this past summer; its not my daily driver but its an outstanding automobile; Added smoke taillights, 3rd brake light, GM performance Exhaust, GM V-series Mats, GM Performance (Brembo) Drilled Rotors and a D3 Intake and ECU, and window tint - and its a screaming automobile now that turns heads everywhere I go. I usually drive in 'S' D which is sport mode and also Competitve Driving Mode which is the 3rd mode before traction control disabled completely

I won't say its a 'better car' but the build quality, fit and finish, and trim of the vehicle is outstanding -- Maintenance costs are MUCH lower as well -- and Cadillac service is TOP NOTCH.. I have friends who own (has :) Benz and BMW's -- and considering I live in Spartanburg SC about 30 mins from the BMW plant they are a dime a dozen.. No glory when I see an AMG logo -- I'm an American proudly driving an excellent built American machine.. not a yuppie mobile.

Bottom line - The Cadillac STS-V might be weaker than the Benz E63 and Bimmer M5, but not much weaker. It's just almost as fast as the M5 and E63, just as luxurious, and just as entertaining. I understand the price difference of the M5 and the E63, but if you want to spend a little bit less money and still want a sporty, luxurious, and powerful ride, then the STS-V is precisely the car for you.
