i have a pitbull and hes the most amazingest dog in the world. & i have fought 4 him. every1 discriminates against them even though its not rlly the dogs. its the stupid F***S that raise them. Nice video, I love dogs so much and I'd like to have a pitbull, but my boyfriend is not open to that because he had a bad experience... I love to train dogs, I've done it with my uncle's pomeranian, he was like 10-11 years old and has never learned any trick and I made him sit, stay and wait before eating a bit of food. I'm confident I can train a pitbull to be the nicest dog in the world...
I have not owned a Pitbull but a friend had one,she came over to introduce me to him and he ran straight into my daughters room hopped on her bed and would not move, What we did'nt know at the time was that my daughter was deathly ill, Thanks to Vin the Beautiful Pitbull my girl is now 15 this happened when she was 7, I'm telling you this as a Tribute to Vin who was taken by our local council and put down thanks to a stupid Pitbull ban here. I keep a photo of him and so does my daughter.
oh and i went to the animal shelter and two out of 30 dogs were NOT pits. like all 28 were pit bulls and they probably had to be given up. this girl said she had two pits and one of the dogs taught the other one to fight. she said it was too hard to break the fight up so she had to give the dog away
the reason why people ban these dogs because most of the owners are losers, not all, but a lot are and they treat them wrong. some are even born mean. this lady thought her pits were nice to she let them roam the neighborhood. they attacked an old lady inside her own home. i believe NOT ALL are mean but i think a lot are mean and aggressive and its probably in their blood.
pits are going thru wht every "bad" dog has gone thru German shepard,doberman,rottwieler,all of them are large dogs and usual cause great damage if they bite, if you want to see a truly mean ass dog look at poodle,cocker spanial,and chahuahua. i love my pit she is the sweetist little monkey ever

pitbulls where not bred for warfare on battlegrounds. Pitbulls were bred for fighting in the Pit and aggressiveness towards humans is something that was orginally breed out of them. ITs only recently that pitbulls have been breed to be human agressive by backyard breeders. Pitbull for hundreds of years were the perfect companion and Family dog because of there affection towards humans. Check your History.

Its funny that there are animals and people in great pain and wish to end the life of misery and pain, but instead of using it to end pain we use it to create more. killing innocent pit bulls put people through much pain, but people (e.g elderly people) who are in great pain and dying cannot be euthanized.

Rottweilers are a close second. Second of all, pitbulls do have extremely powerful jaws. 42% of all dog related deaths in the US are from Pit Bulls - & they constitute 1% of all dogs. 70% of those deaths were children.

I suggest people start testing future pit bull owners. They should check out their homes and make sure the dog isn't going to be used for dog fights or mistreated. Otherwise, so many people own or WILL own pit bulls that will be aggressive

Wow, this video is great. I have 2 pit bulls that are both inside dogs (and even sleep in the bed with me every night!!). I also have a 7 month old baby, and they are the best of friends. I couldn't feel any safer with my 2 babies protecting me and my real baby. It's all in how you raise these dogs. Mine are so loyal and just big babies. Thnak you so much for posting this video!
Excellent videos! I sure wish all the apartment complexes in Colorado Springs, CO would ease up on the breed restriction crap. I still can't adopt this beautiful Staffordshire because I can't find a single place that allows them. I even left my pit bull at my father's house in Las Vegas because I couldn't bring her here. The only one of my dogs that I'm iffy about is my wolf hybrid mix (Australian shep/husky/wolf) but I muzzle him when I bring him around new people, just to be responsible and safe. After he gets used to them, he thinks he's a 100 pound lap dog.

Pitbulls are a unique breed due to the fact that they were bred to be dog aggressive and people loyal at the sametime, but irresponsible onwers and backyard breeding have resulted in breed banning and stereotyping. There are actually less pitbull attacks on record than people realize, they just get a lot more media coverage because they are equiped to cause more damage than other breeds. Thats not the they're fault. German shepards are way more people aggressive and you don't hear about that.

This video is excellent. I have had Pitbulls all of my adult life and since we raised them the right way, they were/are the best dogs ever. They tried to pass a ban here too on Pitbulls but thankfully it did not pass. They need to ban irresponsible people, not pitbulls. Great video.

my dog is a pitbull. she's loving and fun to be with. whenever i tell people i have a pitbull, they look at me like i'm some kind of axe murderer. these poor dogs have gotten such a bad rap. my brother's pitbulls were so docile that in order to get them to attack he would have to pick them up and throw them at someone.
I am sick...I have the most wonderful pit bull, Zero, he is still a pup, was born in July. We have raised him with love and lots of affection...he is a big baby and wants to be held (he's getting big!) and thinks he is a little bitty dog. perhaps you should actually read the CDC report, by their own admission the statistics are useless because up to 26 breeds of dogs were lumped into the category of "pit bull type"

2. The category is "Pit Bull-Type" which, I'm sure you had no idea, includes well over 30 breeds.
3. Divide the total number of deaths by "Pit Bull-Types" by number of dogs,30 breeds and you will get LESS than 1% chance of any of those breeds actually causing a fatality.
4. The CDC does NOT believe that breed bans like BSL will prevent future attacks. They promote dog-bite prevention and early education to young children. After all these events only take place due to irresponsible owners and lack of education about prevention.

Breed Specific Legislation means cities put bans on "dangerous breeds" and if you own one listed in the ban, the city has the right to take it away and euthanize it, even if it has never harmed anyone.
The other option is you have 10 days to move out of the restricted are or get rid of your beloved dog to avoid receiving large fines or jail time.

He has more toys, treats, sweaters...keep your pit bulls warm, they have such slick, sparce fur...poor Zero caught a cold...he has sweatshirts and sweaters now..he is spoiled and loves kids. He is the baby of the family now..his big sister is our beagle, Star.

All domestic dogs have the same PSI which is 320. "Pit Bulls" do not have stronger jaws. Any dog in the 40+ weight range, including Boxers have the same potential to cause serious damage. My dog was attacked at the dog park by a Boxer that we new. He was intact, well trained, but dominant and he took a chunk out of my dog's neck. My "Pit Bull" did nothing because he is not aggressive.
Give me a choice between being bit by a Boxer or a Pit Bull and I will choose the Boxer. (Unless it's Mike Tyson)

actually if the fighting pit bull can get to a rescue they can live. I work at a veterinary clinic and also help out with a pit bull and guardian breed rescue. We have a pit bull who was a fighter. When he came in he was starved nearly to death people aggressive and very dog aggressive...a year later he is running around the house playing with the other dogs and taking treat from our mouths...

Nice video, I love dogs so much and I'd like to have a pitbull, but my boyfriend is not open to that because he had a bad experience... I love to train dogs, I've done it with my uncle's pomeranian, he was like 10-11 years old and has never learned any trick and I made him sit, stay and wait before eating a bit of food. I'm confident I can train a pitbull to be the nicest dog in the world...

I have not owned a Pitbull but a friend had one,she came over to introduce me to him and he ran straight into my daughters room hopped on her bed and would not move, What we did'nt know at the time was that my daughter was deathly ill, Thanks to Vin the Beautiful Pitbull my girl is now 15 this happened when she was 7, I'm telling you this as a Tribute to Vin who was taken by our local council and put down thanks to a stupid Pitbull ban here. I keep a photo of him and so does my daughter.

oh and i went to the animal shelter and two out of 30 dogs were NOT pits. like all 28 were pit bulls and they probably had to be given up. this girl said she had two pits and one of the dogs taught the other one to fight. she said it was too hard to break the fight up so she had to give the dog away

the reason why people ban these dogs because most of the owners are losers, not all, but a lot are and they treat them wrong. some are even born mean. this lady thought her pits were nice to she let them roam the neighborhood. they attacked an old lady inside her own home. i believe NOT ALL are mean but i think a lot are mean and aggressive and its probably in their blood.

pitbulls where not bred for warfare on battlegrounds. Pitbulls were bred for fighting in the Pit and aggressiveness towards humans is something that was orginally breed out of them. ITs only recently that pitbulls have been breed to be human agressive by backyard breeders. Its funny that there are animals and people in great pain and wish to end the life of misery and pain, but instead of using it to end pain we use it to create more. killing innocent pit bulls put people through much pain, but people (e.g elderly people) who are in great pain and dying cannot be euthanized.

Rottweilers are a close second. Second of all, pitbulls do have extremely powerful jaws. 42% of all dog related deaths in the US are from Pit Bulls - & they constitute 1% of all dogs. 70% of those deaths were children.

I wish they had a way to seperate the screwed up pitts from the fine ones because not all pitt bulls are dangerous. I think the reason why everyone thinks they are is because pittbulls are the number one dogs that seem to attack and kill people. It kinda sucks how they have to be destroyed in some states. I'm really against like anything that has to do with hurting animals. :( But the sad truth is that as i am writing there is some one out there holding a dog fighting competition.

These people aren't normal who do this.
I suggest people start testing future pit bull owners. They should check out their homes and make sure the dog isn't going to be used for dog fights or mistreated. Otherwise, so many people own or WILL own pit bulls that will be aggressive

Wow, this video is great. I have 2 pit bulls that are both inside dogs (and even sleep in the bed with me every night!!). I also have a 7 month old baby, and they are the best of friends. I couldn't feel any safer with my 2 babies protecting me and my real baby. It's all in how you raise these dogs. Mine are so loyal and just big babies. Thnak you so much for posting this video!

I still can't adopt this beautiful Staffordshire because I can't find a single place that allows them. I even left my pit bull at my father's house in Las Vegas because I couldn't bring her here. The only one of my dogs that I'm iffy about is my wolf hybrid mix (Australian shep/husky/wolf) but I muzzle him when I bring him around new people, just to be responsible and safe. After he gets used to them, he thinks he's a 100 pound lap dog.

Pitbulls are a unique breed due to the fact that they were bred to be dog aggressive and people loyal at the sametime, but irresponsible onwers and backyard breeding have resulted in breed banning and stereotyping. There are actually less pitbull attacks on record than people realize, they just get a lot more media coverage because they are equiped to cause more damage than other breeds. Thats not the they're fault. German shepards are way more people aggressive and you don't hear about that.

We have raised him with love and lots of affection...he is a big baby and wants to be held (he's getting big!) and thinks he is a little bitty dog. The only reason a dog would be aggresive is because they were trained to be mean. I know tons of people who have pit bulls and children. They are the most friendly and gentle dogs I have seen. A golden retriver or lab has just as much chance as a pit bull does to bite or hurt someone.

I think the vet said about an hour and a 1/2. That's what makes it so messed up. The baby was crying and the parents ignored it until it's toes were off of one foot. The point is that the correction was never printed in the papers. You can read the article at that link.

Google - CDC DOG ATTACKS ...and you will learn about all the deaths caused by dogs - pit bulls are on the top of the list. pit bulls have caused more DEATHS of humans than any other breed. When do you hear about Labs or Golden Retrievers killing people? It's a rarity. Pit Bulls are naturally aggressive. People need to stop breeding them.

1. There is no listing for "Pit Bulls" on the CDC fatal dog attack list.
2. The category is "Pit Bull-Type" which, I'm sure you had no idea, includes well over 30 breeds.
3. Divide the total number of deaths by "Pit Bull-Types" by number of dogs,30 breeds and you will get LESS than 1% chance of any of those breeds actually causing a fatality.

actually my mom is a mail carrier and was attacked the dog broke her forearm and dislocated her shoulder which in turn tore her rotator cuff (which required surgery. It also tore up her legs pretty bad the only thing that saved her was loads of pepper spray...No the dog was not a pit bull it was a CHOCOLATE LAB. I have 3 pit bulls and a pit bull rottweiler mix all are the most lovable dogs I have ever owned.

Breed Specific Legislation means cities put bans on "dangerous breeds" and if you own one listed in the ban, the city has the right to take it away and euthanize it, even if it has never harmed anyone.
The other option is you have 10 days to move out of the restricted are or get rid of your beloved dog to avoid receiving large fines or jail time.

I have a 12 year old adba red girl who is the best dog I have ever owned. Calm ,sweet,loving and now the proud foster mom to an amstaff that was adopted by a neighbor who could'nt keep her because the retriever in the house wanted to eat her!
So much for breed profiles!

I'm counting the days until people/media will realise that it's not a "dog"-problem, it's owner-problem... I love my amstaff, Nova. She's the best dog that I've ever had!!! She's awsome in every way!!!

Absolutely....owner problem. We have raised our pit bull, Zero, with repect, love and affection. He has more toys, treats, sweaters...keep your pit bulls warm, they have such slick, sparce fur...poor Zero caught a cold...he has sweatshirts and sweaters now..he is spoiled and loves kids. He is the baby of the family now..his big sister is our beagle, Star.

i love pit bulls they r so cute and not agresive!i happen to own 3 of them and none of them have ever attacked anything except for their chew toys but thats besides the point. no body will come over to my house and their parents wont let them because of my dogs but i dont cae let them belive what they want while i no the facts about pit bulls. thats what i think about those ppl like the bsl!

All domestic dogs have the same PSI which is 320. "Pit Bulls" do not have stronger jaws. Any dog in the 40+ weight range, including Boxers have the same potential to cause serious damage. My dog was attacked at the dog park by a Boxer that we new. He was intact, well trained, but dominant and he took a chunk out of my dog's neck. My "Pit Bull" did nothing because he is not aggressive.

And where do you come up with all dogs biting with exactly the same pressure? I think bio-mechanics and physics make that an impossibility. Is there a particular reason "Spin" is a part of your name?

no one knows who are the good owners and who are the bad. If there's a problem there should be a fix... Maybe have the dogs registered in there own breed where they can be regulated for the aggression. my son was attacked by the neibors family pet (pit)

i totally feel ya i dont personally like pits as a house pet because im not a large breed type but they can be very good dogs as long as they are treated right and not trained to fight

ALL APBT that were "used for fighting" are killed. Puppies UNDER 6 months are occasionally adopted out, but that is rare.

actually if the fighting pit bull can get to a rescue they can live. I work at a veterinary clinic and also help out with a pit bull and guardian breed rescue. We have a pit bull who was a fighter. When he came in he was starved nearly to death people aggressive and very dog aggressive...a year later he is running around the house playing with the other dogs and taking treat from our mouths...

Im not saying they should ban Pit bulls cause i don't think that is right, but Pit Bulls have been researched and shown to be more aggressive than other dogs. What is so great about a pitbull anyways? They are not overly good at anything than any other dog.

Check out my sweety, "sweet pit bull life" is his video. Great dog. Yes, he will attack, but only to protect his family just like all dogs are supposed to do. It's all about raising and training. Who gets a dog and says "Oh, he will lick an intruder who is trying to harm him or us, lets get this one!"? No one with a brain.
