Why dont people understand, shes scared because this is her FIRST adventure, shes not gonna be fearless. There making it more believable so you can enjoy the game more. As it goes on she will become stronger and more brave so whats your problem. This is gonna be the best game theyve made so far, i can feel it. They urgently ought to fix Lara's hair. In Tomb Raider 8 Underworld, that crap that killed the classic series especially because of the end of Amelia, her hair was PERFECT. They ought to use the same quality or bigger. I'm glad that they confirmed that in Lara's rewritten biography her parents are alive, in order to erase the horrible mistake from TR8.

Seems like they've tried to create Lara more humanized in the sense that she's grunting in pain, yelling in surprise...when she didnt really do that so dramatically in the other games. It does make it seem more interesting to play, but it'll take some getting used to.  Game characters usually allow you to do what you couldnt do yourself.

@IcoTheBest Tomb Raider is a game made for the Xbox 360 and then ported to the PS3 and PC, just like many others that were also presented during the Microsoft conference (Modern Warfare 3 for example)

@Greglaz125 Tomb Raider 9 has ruined the franchise completely as swimming has been removed as well as the dual pistols which are Lara's trademark she isn't Lara Croft without them but worst of all Keeley Hawes being dropped as the voice actress she is the best one of all. I hope that this game fails so that Crystal Dynamics can make the future Tomb Raider games like Legend, Anniversary & Underworld there was no need for a reboot everything was perfect before.

And maybe the dual pistols become her trademark after this island or something. I do agree with the voice though...but I'm going with the thought of that she's younger...Someone else also commented that she's screaming too much, and with that I do agree...I mean, you don't want the guy to find you so don't scream so much...but that's your opinion...this is mine. =D

I hope this is not her final voice. I mean it is different than the voice from the trailer, and I have read somewhere, that when they made this demo scene, they hadnt had the voice actors chosen. @takacska6969 Without any emotion...feeling? Dude she's stranded on an island hung upside down. If you were forced to escape a torture island as a young adult, maybe 19 or 20, you'd be screaming and shouting especially when you fell on what looks to me like a small stalagmight. I've played Tomb Raider for over 11 yeras and I've got to say this is gotta be the coolest preview since all the games. It won't come out for over a year so they'll probably change a lot of shit we see in the video.
