I connect my turntable to my sound card to make MP3's but if I connect the turntable to my Microphone Jack on my camera wil I get a good audio and video recording of the record? disneysongtape
I am confused now. My turntable only has one set of connecting plugs. How do I hook it up to my camera and sound card to make one video of the record playing and the audio together? disneysongtape
I just bought a video Camera. How to I get it hooked up to make videos like this? The regular Mic picks up too much background noise. thanks disneysongtape
I use the camera mic only for recording the background noise (record changer noises) and simultaneously the turntable output is connected directly to the sound card on the pc to get the best sound!
I'm fairly certain it was Christian. He played with Goodman small groups around that time and was the only guitarist to be featured by Goodman (featured in solos as opposed to playing rhythm guitar)
"the only guitarist to be featured by Goodman featured in solos as opposed to playing rhythm guitar)" Goodman did let other electric guitarists take solos sometimes, but anyway yeah it's Christian on this one.
Silly of me. Thanks for putting me right. I imagine postwar Goodman groups had electric guitarists but I have an irrational blind spot to my enjoyment of Goodman after the arrival of Bebop. In fact, don't know the personnel of any Goodman post 1945 small groups.
Total number of guitar solos with Benny during '42-'45 was small, but if you do a youtube search on
powers girl goodman
the second one has one of the solos that Dave Barbour took with Benny in '42. If I remember right, Benny didn't hire a first-rate lead electric guitarist (along the lines of Chuck Wayne, Tiny Grimes, or Remo Palmieri) during '42-'47. Then hired the great Billy Bauer in '48.
Hi. All the old amplifiers has included a preamplifier for the phono signal, so you can connect directly the amp to the phono in of the pc sound card. You can use too a preamp to connect to the pc. I think you can find some options in Ebay. There are turntables prepared to connect via usb directly.

@disneysongtape
Then use those record-to-mp3 in the video edition and the video recordings at the same time. This is a dubbing.

@disneysongtape
1-Connect the turntable output to the pc input and start mp3 recording.
2-Start recording with the videocamera.
Make the mix using the video and the mp3in the video editor program.

For some reason, YouTube assumes I speak Spanish.
