I would open with the Universal logo (but instead of Earth it is Reach), and then as it fades to black this music starts. At first it is slow, slowly fading out of black as, in the corner, the words "the year is 2552" appear on the bottom left. Then, it says "humanity is at war with an overly powerful alien empire" then the music picks up, and we see the space battle above reach. The credits roll as the battle rages. The ending sequence: We see the "Pillar of Autumn" jumping to lightspeed.

nah, he said after everything that happened, he wont do the halo movie. He likes the halo universe and would like to work on it, but you could say the halo movie has been a bad experience for him thus far.

Still, I think we'll be seeing more of him. Considering he only directed short movies and commercials before District 9, and given only a $30 million budget and a rookie cast, the movie was fantastic.

@IngenFiles He wasn't basically fired, he can still do it. The only reason why the movie wasn't made was because there wasn't enough money to fund the film. It's now gone into what is called 'Film Limbo' were films usually aren't made, sometimes at all.Some films are rebooted when the budget is affordable to make the film.

The halo film is really long over 4 hours apparently as it is based on the books fall of reach and the flood which blends into the game. its late due to jackson half way through dropping out but coming back. I know it is still going on as in the Bee movies Special features on how it is made they use the same software to create bee movie as they are using to create the halo film. also they got the height of master chief right as well as it showed a glimpse of some stand and a 7 foot spartan.

The footage is actually all taken from the "Lord of the Rings" Trilogy, directed also by Peter Jackson. I have no idea if they are actually planning on making a movie, but pretty much all the supposed footage is from other movies like this one, or the live-action ads for Halo 3 created by bungie. If any Halo movie exists, it would be way to early for there to be any footage released. By the time studios release footage as ads, the entire movie is done.

My friend randy brought a gamerpro magazine to school. That issue killed every single game there is, but there was an article about halo the movie.  It said that whoever's makin the movie thought the master cheif was too unsimpathetic for the movie.
