@AnotherKentPaul I learn from all different artists either in real life or online. I learn little by little, and later on I slowly found my own drawing style. Nowadays I don't really draw chibis that much coz it doesn't really help me with anatomy and poses as much as drawing the real sized features of a human anatomy. It's really up to the artist their ways of learning things and how much they want to become better at it/them.

@chibigirl24 It's just a mechanical pencil with 2B lead. I would say any mechanical works pretty well as long as you're comfortable with it and how you take care of it/them.

@ella6713 There are different styles in chibis-- have noses or not. Chibis pretty much means a "deformed" version of a character. Depending on the style, as long as they're not anatomically proportioned.

@rebornfangirl If you want the lead of the pencil/mechanical pencil, try using B or 2B. HB is like the normal/default lead for pencils. Either you go to the H side, or B side.

@rebornfangirl you probably have the same issue as me, Maybe. I'm heavy handed so I use a lot of pressure on my pencil making it look rough. Try using mechanical pencils less, and sharpening more often. Also for some reason, older pencils like the ones with crappy erasers work pretty well too.
