mannnn i used to do these :) i wonder if i was ever good though lol. this is basically the only thing i still can do decently. id love to be taught by this lady. shes good
@wegotf8th im really sick of all the "ive been tapping for 10+ years...blah blah blah, im so good," snooty comments. There are lots of good dancers our there. Enjoy or dont watch the damn videos and get over yourselves.
@zubbazub3 good 2 no u care enough 2 reply :) i dont know why youd even reply 2 me about that for something a YEAR ago. but thanx for showing you care.
Agreed completely with @VivalaWombat !!! My dance teacher made us do this step during one class ( a 45 minute long class) untill we had it perfected! She wouldn't let us do anything else. Not even our recital dance. I was sweating at the end of class! Weight changes, timing, the whole chabang is important! But it isn't right unless it looks and sounds clean. So yeah, I still do this step randomly through the house sometimes. It's really fun once you LEARN it. :) Happy tapping!
this isnt advanced, i've been tap dancing for 13 years, and i learnt to do this ages ago but steps like these build on to harder and better steps to make it look better. :)
wow people. i wanna learn tap but not if it means being around people like yall. it might not be advanced for people who have been tapping since they were six, but for people who never have, yet its advanced. so unless you wanna make a video and show real advanced moves, then how bout shut up. why even click on tutorial videos anyways if youre all such experts? damn.
I dont know why everyone is getting so worked up about this. i've been a dancer for 11 years now, and its not about your skill or your knowledge, its about the beautiful expression that you convey through your dancing.
dancing is lovely, and lovely things should not be fought over, they should be relished
Maybe you haven't taken any tap in your life time, so let me fill you in: Just because the step is simple, doesn't make it easy.
The tricky part about even the easiest tap moves, like this one, is making a CLEAN and EVEN sound - the hardest thing to do in tap, hands down, and also the most vital.
All advanced dancers know this.
So unless you actually know what you're talking about, keep your comments to yourself. She's doing a fantastic job.
Well, if all tap sounds were even would it even sound good? Tap is about RHYTHM not keeping it even. Cleanliness I agree with, but keeping it even is for beginners. my 3rd graders that I teach can keep things even, it isn't that difficult.
1. I know what I'm talking about. I have trained with teachers such as Mike Minery, AJ Russo, Danny Wallace, Donovan Helma, Ayodele Casel, Cory Finn, and soooooooooooo many other. Yes I'm a teenager, but I know what the f*** i'm talking about. So don't tell me I don't know. WHEN I DO.
And all of them use hard sole tap shoes just to let you know :)
and everyone can make "rhythm" with tap shoes. but its pointless if your rhythm doesn't match w/ music
livelaughlove20563 That's wonderful that you've trained with SO many teachers. Congratulations! but you don't have to act so FULL OF YOURSELF when you comment someone else's video. No one on youtube cares if you're some tap dancing "god". And if you are then how come YOU don't have any of YOUR videos up dear??
honestly, its because I always recieve your comments after i get off work and before I hang out with my friends. so in the mean time arguing sounds fun :). sorry if i offended. I was more of defending myself than I was being a bitch
ive been a tap dancer for 18 years, and im pretty sure trebles are one of the first dance steps i learned

I love the sound of these 'trebles', or 'spring-shuffle-hops' as i call them, if you want to make them harder, try putting a pick-up in there!
BethyMog15 1 year ago
trebles are irish dance too AHA!
Brittanysugerplum98 1 year ago
i remeber doing that for my warm up last year...if you want it harder add an extra hop to every step so it would be (hop hop treble) not (hop treble)

ANYONE CAN MAKE RYTHM WITH TAP SHOES, that doesn't mean you're a good tap dancer. Wow please think before you comment. Seriously.

For that exact reason.
I don't think I'm a tap dancing god, I just know what the hell I'm talking about. There is a difference.
I don't need to show what I can do on youtube just to seek your approval. You aren't THAT important to me.
