You should pull this video. Use the same phone on the same carrier and then do it. Anything else just confuses people, even though you are transparent.
Hard to tell... all I know is, the Comcast rings right away, same for Gizmo5 (may it rest in peace). But I have TWO Evos and both of them start ringing on 6th ring and miss the call entirely half the time. I guess I should try and see if it wotks any better when dialing the Sprint number directly.
Having the same issue on my evo 4g on sprint. I also have a touch pro on Sprint which rings instantly so I definitely think it's an android problem. Still no fix...
So, I think I got a fix! Try deleting your mobile number from Google Voice and then re-adding it. It should solve the problem. It worked for me, at least. I have no idea why. Hope it helps you!
I'm pretty sure it has to do with the Android OS. Google needs to come out with a fix for this soon or it's going to completely invalidate the reason for getting an Android phone and using Google Voice on it.
I'm having the same problem. I can clearly tell you that its not sprint because I have the HTC Hero for Cellular South and it does the same thing. I believe its and Android issue and I hope they come out with an update to fix this.

the delay is a google voice issue not a android or sprint related issue

On another note, I much perfer the HTC Hero over the Iphone. Its a better phone in my opinion.
