I find easier to do like this: create new (empty) layer, use the pencil tool (to get sharp edges) increasing and decreasing his size with the keyboard shortcuts as needed (they may vary depending on the keyboard layout or language). after you finish covering the skin zones with circles, create a selection from the 2º layer (ctrl+click on the layer thumb), create a new layer filled with color, select it and pres delete to erase the selected areas. deselect all. delete 2º layer. Presto

@Alick12 i had the same problem. what you do after you make a new layer is you go to the layer tab and click new fill layer and change the colour once you do that another screen will pop up and u will see A circle in the middle either change the colour or keep ur choice. then go to the circle make it..
