  • Let me just say that given all the religious hooplah out there I do find it refreshing in some sense that someone is creating religious-like viewpoints based partially in scientific ideas. At least a religion based in that, as a posed to child bearing virgins and 8 armed godesses, is interesting. And I think this connection I'm making in general is very appropriate here. This man exemplifies what happens when reason is infiltrated by desire. He's just a modern illustration of this.

  • @muffinmancannot you sound like you would appreciate my book: THIRTEENTH APOSTLE: THE COMING TRANSUBSTANTIATION..................I have a website coming within a month or so

  • ..this guy assumes he has free will and there is good and bad...this is all elementary and he seems lost....see Ramana Maharshi or Nisagardatta...even Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. Nisagardatta said it best: "liberation is NOT of a person, it is FROM a person"

  • non sens

  • Guy is talking gibberish

  • This man doesn't make sense when he speaks. Ever heard of the science of emergent order from chaos? If you all really do seek an understanding of the universe, and it seems that many of you genuinely do, than it would behoove you to read up on a system of thought that actually takes into account the complexity of reality: complex systems theory. Young is simplistic in his reasoning.. Almost as simplistic as thinking about the brain in terms of two halves. The universe is complex, embrace it.

  • @muffinmancannot Complex system theory.-which kind of theory it is??

Chaos doesn't exist. Always is order. Chaos is simply our lack of perception or understanding.

  • @muffinmancannot He died 16 years ago at the age of 95. Most of his understanding came from a time when we didn't have the benefits of today's insights. in that light, I'd say he was remarkable in many respects.

  • The 2 sides of the brain are there to allow for comparison. That's it. This is the very basis of mathematics. This is smaller than that, that is bigger than this. It is the act of comparison that allows consciousness to know itself ultimately. BTW, there was no big bang as mentioned below. Consciousness is primary, not the physical.

  • i understand what he is saying, I just dont know how to Bring that state to life, in the present moment.

  • mind before matter.

  • He makes a good point though, nothing can become from nothing all energy was there at the big bang, therefore consciousness was there too. Was our collective consciousness the cause of the big bang? Is consciousness recycled on earth? He makes a very good point here

  • Kabbalah talks in this manner you speak of, in a way, that all was one and divided and multipled, tho to them its not the creation of everything, only the physical world, or world we see with the 5 senses.

  • Light is NOT the fundamental building block of consciousness, that is just plain wrong. Consciousness builds light to suite itself in this particular physical dimension.

Pure, eternal and ethereal consciousness is the basis of everything. It is the experiential continuum that always was, nothing else is like what it is.

  • 3 modes of perception, is needed to fully understand anything.

  • If the universe isn't objective, then logic would break down, but without logic, you have no theories, no logic. All seemingly subjective phenomenon are the products of different experiences and human ignorance.

  • Where is logic in the human mind? hoe can you perceive, while using one side of the bRain over the other? is that not a half truth?

both brains in balence is known if many religons, as the halo, the crown chakra, etc etc, the merging of the 2 snakes, to polarities of the mind. Science see with one side, with no intuition. and spirituality, only uses the other, so one isnt right, both are right, but not realized unless you see it both ways.

  • There are more than two ways to see it.

  • theres one true way, boths brains in balence, creates a new perspective, the third eye, the serpent on the forehead an egyptian pharoh, the pineal glad. all are the same thing, symbolized differantly.

  • truth be told, i don't know what you're saying

  • its the trinity reflected in man. in the hebrew triad, ( 3 spheres on top of the tree of life) you have the father mind, and the mother mind, and with the interworkings of these 2 minds, the son is created.

all things in nature are created from 2 opposites, the mind is no different. its the virgin, and immortal birth, its in all religons, and mystical teachings.

in truth a male cannot see truth, nor a female, they are different, its the union that can see. its reflected in the brain, 2 sides

  • @IMBUED But both sides of brain are controlled by small R-cortex brain.

  • but in kabbalah, and hermetic ideas, its not about the brain, its going deeper, the 2 sides of the brain, are just a shadow of the true self so to speak, or small reflection of ones true nature. Atoms, everything, follow the law of polarity, to escape the paridim, one has to in a sense over come this polarity. symbolized by adam before he fell, before he fell he was androdynis.

  • everything anyone ever knew or experienced are subjective phenomenon, you can't have it any other way

  • Logic doesn't exist in any other realm than the subjective
