Basque is the oldest language in Europe. More than icelandic, indeed is pre-indoeuropean.

Newest similar language found is a protobasque one in Aquitania (France pyrenees where you now can find Biarritz or Bidart).

The real origin is unknown.

Sorkun is one of the many good rock bands you cand find in the Euskal herria musical scene.

There are people who hates basque, because they are national spanish, they in the past bring german troops and destroy Gernika. Nowadays, they want to eliminate basque language from society.

No, this is basque language, comes from Maghreb, it's a kind of an arabized berber language imported during the invasion of Rome by Hannibal. It's been spoken in Southern Europe, not too far from Africa.b
