@dnahoghunter That's my favorite kinda place for running jugs, yo yos and trotlines - any place with a lot of cypress. I use a 50-lb thrust Minkota trolling motor. It pushes my rig 4-5 mph with a fresh battery according to my GPS. It's all I really need, plus it's very quiet. I sneak up on a lot more wildlife for picture taking purposes than if I had a small gas motor. Not to mention how ungodly priced even a small outboard motor is nowdays!!!
@philly442 Lol. You obviously know little about catfish. Any oxbow lake in the south is loaded with catfish, as is this one. While they are capable of living in water that might be too "dirty" for bass, catfish thrive in clean water as well. If the lake supports bream and/or shad, there will be catfish. If fact, I'm not sure you could find a like of any size in the south that didn't support a thriving catfish population.
Beautiful.

Have you been to Moro bay? Thank you for documenting all these areas around there. No one else has to my knowledge.
