You know what the best part about a bigot's comments are? In about 20-30 years when my generation is running the country, their thoughts won't matter. Soon, EVERYONE will have their Civil Rights, as it should be. The bigots will hide behind their bibles, which is what makes me embarassed to be in the same religion as them, but it won't matter. To bad so many people are mis guided into thinking that they have a right to gay marriage when there is no such thing. Marraige is defined by God as between one man and ond woman and nothing man can do in his courts of law can change this. You can't have a right to something that by definition doesn't even exist. No matter what rebellion against God's will you make on earth the final judge that counts won't be moved by lawyers and judges on earth that obuse their position by ruling for sin.

@alohadave13 Is it hateful & ignorant to try & stop those running toward sin and hell. God's word is easy to understand. If you do not repent of your sins you will go to hell. He made it very easy, all you have to do is choose to stay a sinner which we all are, or ask Him to change your life. You will still sin as all are sinners, but Christians try to live their life as Jesus did which means telling people they're sinners no matter how much they hate you for it so they've a chance to repent.

Where you got the idea that loving and marrying anyone is ok is very strange as the one authority in the universe makes it clear that marraige is between one man and one woman and all other attempts to change this are sin against His perfect will. Believe what you want, but in the final day it won't matter what you think as you will be judged by His standard.

I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wish I knew about this before today. CRAP! I live on Oahu &would have been at that protest in a heartbeat. I don't live in California &I also don't have the right to vote yet. I'm just a girl that loves another girl &would love to stand in that crowd, holding a protest sign in one hand, &my girlfriend's hand in the other.

I find it so so sad that this many folks come out and protest Prop 8. Don't get me wrong, I am not against Prop 8. However, where was or is your outrage about the Banker Bailout, patriot act 1 & 2, along with many more serious things that need to be acted on ASAP

If you read, I am saying folks will protest prop 8 in such a large number but not things that are an ASAP needs attention right now. Like the banker bailout, Patriot Act 1 & 2. However most people are so so very selfish. They only care about what affects them directly.
