  • milk=insulin growth factor 1=cancer

  • And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. --Deuteronomy 11:15

    PEACE

  • man, one thing i HATE is that you guys are extremely superficial: What about raw milk? what about the differences between pastourized and non pastourized/boiled??? at least post a complete perspective -_- give cesar what is owed to cesar for god's sake.

  • plus it sounds pretty much commercial to me, raw milk has everything that is needed....if it is carried in appropriate sterilized containers it is much safer and powerful than normal pastourized milk....this needs a big-time in-depth research, we have no time to deal with superficial ads....the guy should study more, what he says is incomplete.

  • Very commercial discourse

  • Hemp makes the best milk !

  • exactly, there are chemicals in everything, but this is something that we are actually consuming&digesting in our bodies,so I'm pretty sure it is causing more damage than any beauty products.Think about all the young girls that are developing faster nowadays, then remember the growth hormones they inject cows with. It's affecting our bodies one way or another. One way me& others can play it safe is by choosing healthier alternatives while they are still available,I think that's the point of the vid.

  • Sean, what are your thoughts on homogenized milk? I read conflicting reports on the homogenization of milk and its safety. It is illegal to sell raw milk where I live. Most of the organic milk I do see is homogenized, some is not. What do I get?

  • This guy is full of shit. A human's ability to digest milk depends on the flora in their gut. Milk is for babies not adults. Wake up ppl.

  • @ultrraviolet , Then why do they want adults to drink it? I stopped drinking it cause all it does is make me fart, give me bronchitis, acne, etc.. I don't have that problem with almond milk

  • Very good video(interview). I switched from genetically modified* or even conventional* grocery store milk, to raw GRASS FED organic whole milk a little while back. Good stuff, the only downside is the shelf-life of organic milk is shorter than processed milk, b/c REAL food breaks down faster than processed food. Processed food STAYS IN YOU and can eventually cause a number of allergies and diseases.

  • i drink milk and im fine

  • Are the studies basically saying that grass fed cows produce more nutritious milk compared to corn/maize fed cows?

  • Raw Milk is great for you pasteurized milk is horrible for you end of story....

  • As for alternatives, I like coconut milk myself. I never really cared for rice milk, but I am fine with soya milk and almond milk.

  • That said what are the dangers of osteoporosis on a milk free diet and where or what are better alternatives to keep a good calcium intake, especially for active sporty people. Remember Masai tribes drink cows milk; I'll admit not in the sence of factory farmed, you just can't get this milk, not without it being out of your budget!!!!!

  • @maddmuppetonacid osteoporosis is an epidemic in the US(one of the biggest milk-drinking nations). osteoporosis is now thought to be from excess protein(ie the modern SAD diet of too much meat, dairy, even soy and other beans) As primates, we're not meant for it.

Calcium is high in melons, oranges, mangos, broccoli, kale, lettuce, quinoa, nuts and seeds.

  • Everytime I read something about nutrition, in the media, cows mil comes up time and time again. I don't think I've read one mainstream media that doesn't support cows milk!

  • The difference in America's milk and European milk is huuuge...

For once, milk in U.S lasts for weeks if not a month.Processed milk in Europe lasts for 3-6 days tops. But its not all about the "self-life" people - living in europe and drinking dairy is not an issue over here.

  • so u don't rly drink dairy, you hate on grains, do you only eat meat and vegs? aka Paleo diet

  • Sean, "Devil in the milk"? thats a claim based on belief. That's why they using words like "Devil". Can they use scientific studies to label Milk as an hazardous product?

It's a known fact that our body tolerance to certain foods vary from one individual to an other. Some human body will adapt (but still die later) and some wont adapt at all.

All those claims you heard are marketing propaganda coming from all different milk companies. Everyone want to sell you their milk. That's all.

  • @samphilomath okay.

  • @UndergroundWellness lol...that's a good way to sign people off who don't have a clue & sadly never will. Great reply.

  • @samphilomath its just an expression. taking things out of proportion much?

  • @ThisIsNotPictureTube "its just an expression"? lol

Well, let me tell you something. Marketing use those so called "just expression" to influence people all the time. And yes it works (on certain people). They'll use "expressions" like: "All Natural", "Fresh", "Home Made"...

"Devil in the milk" is a competitor marketing slogan. If you want to fall for it, it your (influenced) choice. Contact me when you find "The tree of life".

  • @samphilomath its not about falling for anything. he's just using that in his explanation you incompetent prick. i got a better idea - contact me when you grow up and stop using any excuse you can to attack religion

  • @ThisIsNotPictureTube Wait a minute. Why are you trying to disrespect me for? Well, I am sorry for written somethings your customer's intellect wasn't ready to grasp. I am sorry for pointing out actual true marketing strategies used by companies to influence people like you.

There is no need to get mad at me for telling the true. Feel free to buy, drink the speaker's perfect milk and live forever if that's your belief.

  • @samphilomath but what about all of the growth hormones they inject cows with & all the cheap feed given to them? even the cows eventually die with all the chemicals.

  • @animechelle Will you live forever if you suck milk directly from an organic grass fed cow tits? Yes or No.

  • @samphilomath my point is that all of the chemicals given to the cows, is absorbed by our bodies whenever we drink milk, or eat their meat, so I would think there would be some side effects in the process. I don't think we should rub it off as bs right away, especially when there are many informative resources revealing the scandals of the food corps., which in my opinion are the real marketing culprits who only care about money. We all die eventually, but I'd rather play it safe ^_^

  • @animechelle Chemicals given to the cows? Your body is absorbing different level of toxicity all the time non stop. Your hygienic products, you beauty products, your electronic products, your cleaning products, food packaging, your cook ware, water supply, construction products, the air you breath, your medicines. Just to name a few. So, you'll play it safe how? :)

Adaptation, food corps or not, it will still be required to survive (for a while).

  • @samphilomath Your grammar sucks.

  • Some people commenting below have serious issues.

  • I can't eat spicy foods like my hispanic relatives. Some things just work better for certain people I guess. If everyone was the same and had the same diet and the same tastes we would have a lot less stuff to bitch about, and that would be boring.

  • As Sean said countless time before... Listen to your body and it will tell you if you should have it or not. The speaker started off with the majority of the problem being for africans, indians, and jewish people. I grew up on my grandfathers dairy drinking raw milk and it works great for me. My grandpa outlived all his classmates and is still very functional and mobile still working like a lot of older farmers I know. With that said tho, I understand some peoples body's reject it.

  • fermenting the milk is better

  • Milk is made by cows for cows...not humans. I don't know why this is such a foreign concept to people. It's pretty much common sense to me. I haven't touched dairy in 4 years and I couldnt be happier

  • @akemp7777 good more for me, its not crazy to drink milk as an adult. as people we found a resource to nurture us and took advantage of it. other animals dont drink other animals milk because they cant. tigers cant milk cows but if they killed a cow with utters full of milk i bet they would drink it. im just sayin

  • Comment removed

  • Why drink milk from an animal at all! Its for calves and kid goats. Humans drink milk from their mothers as babies then move on to other foods, We don't keep breast feeding throughout our lives.

  • @53truthseeker That's a good point.

  • I typically use Rice and soy milk, but i also use Almond, hemp, coconut and flax milk. I havent touched dairy in 7 years. I have considered using Raw goat milk, but i cant get over the idea of drinking an animals excreted liquids. Ill just stick to Flax milk for now, until i have an epiphany or something. =P

  • Wowwww !!! Very good video !!! How can i get Raw Milk delivered to me ? is there ne web sites ne one can recommend & as of yogurts what is a good brand that someone wud recommend ?

  • Casien is worse than Gluten? It's become really popular in protien powders as a slow digesting protien. I know some people have issues digesting it but I never wanted to experiment it. Whey and Whey Isolate for me

  • ... So where do I go to buy the 'better' milk? I have 2 daughters and I haven't been comfortable giving them milk except in their cereal bowls, one of them is lactose intolerant and even I have completely stopped drinking it. If there is actually a healthy version, I'd like to know where to get it.

  • Beyond Organic - another MLM scheme run by a jew.

  • you really do get the best interviews on these subjects. thank you so much!

  • I don't get this, help me please

  • I hope the milk sold in Australia isn't problematic like the majority of milk in USA, but I know for a fact it's illegal to sell raw milk in Australia.

  • hahahaha Jordan Ruben...QUACK QUACK QUACK. I hate Pseudoscience.

  • So why is casein harmful and how are we supposed to avoid it?...surely there's casein in all animal's milk, no??

  • i drink 1/2 a gallon of 2% milk a day.

  • My town has two grocery stores and both charge more for "whole" milk versus low fat and skim. Maybe things are different where this speaker is from. Maybe not.

  • Cows milk evolved for baby cows. Not for baby humans or adults. Why do we feel we need to regularly consume this product that is not made for us?

  • @reinventingEd Because so many cultures have flourished on a diet that included cows milk.

  • @cdnp4p Asian cultures have done very well without dairy products as a staple in their diet.

  • @reinventingEd Having spent a year in Asia that is absolutely true. But we cannot forget about the cultures who have included dairy as a staple in their diet. To say dairy is not healthy is absurd. You can definitely argue that the dairy we are getting in supermarkets is bad but dairy coming from grass-fed cows is quite healthy especially when you consume it in its natural state ie. Raw Milk.

  • @cdnp4p

First off I didn't say milk was "not healthy". I said it, "evolved for baby cows. Not for baby humans or adults." with that fact some people may have problems digesting any form of milk as an adult. So we really don't need to drink it.

2nd. it's could be taken as rude for you suggest any other opinion but yours is "absurd". Absurd = wildly unreasonable, illogical, or inappropriate : it would be absurd to drink Raw Milk on a daily basis.

Ya gotta have a little sense of humor dude.

  • @reinventingEd Alright, yeah I apologize. Maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was having a bad day. Fair points though. Why do you think drinking raw milk on a daily basis would be a bad idea? Not that I do drink it on a daily basis, in fact I only drink it on occasion.

  • @reinventingEd Do you eat meat? Eggs? Honey? None of these things are "meant" for us but that doesnt mean there not beneficial to our health.

  • @CtrlAltDltYou Yes, I eat protein from a variety of meats everyday. Whole eggs about 5 times a week. I don't know when the last time I ate real honey. To me there seems to be some kind of political push to make us believe we need to consume cows milk everyday. But we really don't need it. Asian cultures have done very well without dairy products as a staple in their diet.

  • @reinventingEd While "cow milk evolved for cows, not for humans" is a compelling argument, it would be fallacious to conclude that it must be the sole consideration. It could be that regardless of that fact, cow milk is supported by human metabolism. I'm not arguing it is, but I'm reminded of how harmonious cannabis and phytocannabinoids are with human metabolism yet humans didnt evolve to consume them.

  • I'm black and I eat diary everyday of the week. I don't drink milk, or anything but water for that matter because I'm cutting, but when I'm done cutting I'll be drinking whole milk all the time. Milk does a body good. I hope don't become lactose intolerant some day.

  • I love the glorious, raw milk goat cheese....haven't tried raw milk sheep's milk, yet. Where can I buy his cheese products? Sean, I signed-up to your Beyond Organic Insider from the d-bar, is this an MLM for raw foods?

  • I gave up wheat as I have celiac disease, but it was sooo hard to give up dairy, especially the cream & cheese. I have ghee though, which I recently found out is casein & lactose free. I hope that's true & not a marketing ply.

  • How does goat, rice milk taste? I have switched over to coconut, and almond milk.

  • @mnemonics100 he would be a sell out if he went into it for the money, if u understood sean at all you would know he got into it to help more people learn about it...

  • How about just drinking Rice, Almond, And soy milk. No human NEEDS Cows or any animal milk.

  • @mnemonics100 I fell you on that one though. It hit me hard when I found out Protandim was the name of the game way back when...stay positive though, be your own hero if you can.

  • that's jacked up the conventional whole milk isn't even whole milk! Beyond Organics sounds awesome I'm EXCITED! :D

  • COWS CAUSE DEFORESTATION!

  • what about raw milk?

  • I'm so glad I live in New Zealand with the availability of true whole milk as the norm.

  • sean i know u probably cant help me , but what wud u do if u had my skin condition called YCHTHYOSIS VULGARIS (dry scaly skin) all my life i had this. It keeps me from wearing tshirts ,there no cure ive been told. P.S hope u reply thanks brother

  • @rui27marne spirulina/hemp might help, or some other substance with fatty acids and other molecules that generate skin cells. could have a gluten sensitivity maybe.

  • @networkedfreedom so shud i avoid raw milk kefir?

  • @rui27marne I don't know, nor do I know enough about dairy to assert..That's for you to determine. What I (believe) and gathered from listening to the whole episode is that the quality of the source, the species of the animal, and the varying molecules it produces are critical factors. for another opinion, I suggest Mercola dot com

  • @rui27marne This is not medical advice but you could look into "YES Parent Plant-Based Essential Fatty Acids" available online. Plant-based oils do not go rancid during manufacturing.

    - If you can afford food sensitivity testing like MRT/LEAP (~$300) you might find some clues.

    - If finances are tight, consider avoiding all gluten, wheat, corn, soy & dairy for a few weeks & see if your skin improves. Beware gluten is in tons of foods.

    - If you don't improve, look for gut infections.

  • @TracyM1974 shud i avoid raw milk kefir?

  • @rui27marne I am not sure about that question. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will respond. I would definitely avoid gluten and wheat and see if your skin improves.

If it does not, you might want to seek out the skills of someone like Sean who works in the field of functional nutrition/medicine. They can run the appropriate tests to get to help you the root cause of your problem so that your body can heal itself. Good luck : )

  • It's not necessary to consume dairy products to be healthy. How would you like it if the women you care about were exploited for their milk?

  • You don't get any antibiotics in almond milk, plus Vitamin E added.

  • @fructmals

A lot of the alternative dairy products, including many almond milk brands, contain a thickener called carrageenan which has been shown to promote tumor growth. You can make your own almond milk though.

  • @TracyM1974 Thank you for the info.. I will look into this. I am making too many RBC's for some reason. Just took the JAK2 mutation blood test. I have been drinking alot of almond milk.

  • @mnemonics100 Ha! Thanks for tuning into my sell-out channel. :)

  • The whole world is in my opinion crying more and more - Live your life!? - or you might as well buy anti bacteria tissues and a mask and eat nothing but the best of the best of food and quit all types of fast food - and a last thing - after all that - tell me that you injoy your life.

  • sean do u consume dairy?

  • @rui27marne Rarely. I do cheese here and there. Yogurt too.

  • @UndergroundWellness Hello. I love milk and its one of my main drinks.

Should I drink whole milk? I have been drinking skim milk. I know that you believe in raw milk. But skim or whole? Thanks.

  • @Damnationization Go with Raw milk. Whole milk is better than skim though.

  • @UndergroundWellness not even raw milk anymore?

  • @UndergroundWellness Really? That's surprising given some of your older videos where we see you holding a big container of raw milk. What made u stop the raw milk?

  • @sdpgposd Whole Foods doesn't carry it anymore and I don't want to drive to go get it from another store. Not a fan of driving. If I'm in the neighborhood, I'll pick some up.

  • @UndergroundWellness Right on Sean,....say no to wall street and YES to MAIN STREET!! =D

  • I think it's a hell of a lot easier to drink almond milk and eat soy yogurt than to go out and try to find the "good milk"

  • I would like a good glass of milk, would you like some racism with that milk? ok now I'll go get my own milk thanks

  • you're all a bunch of fucking idiots

  • I dont understand the point he was making about casein...was he saying there's no casein in his cows' milk??...Surely all cows milk has casein so even his cows' milk would have it too.

  • @CtrlAltDltYou He was stating that his milk has a casein molecule different from those found in the other milk variety, and that the latter is inferior: apparently (among other things) it causes detrimental opioid activity in the brain. Also of interest: If you go off of sucrose-dense foods (they stimulate opioid-release) for a while, it's been asserted you might begin to have cravings for dairy products, because they share a mutual metabolic pathway.

  • @networkedfreedom So only some casein is bad for you? It's just that I've heard people saying that casein in general is bad for your health but I didn't know there were different varieties, thanks for the reply.

  • of course for the last 2 weeks ive been drinking only white milk now. fucking gay. i'm still gonna drink it

  • I d on't even drink cow's milk anymore. I drink almond milk or rice milk. As an african american person, we don't need any extra calcium in our bodies.

  • @Machelle3200 really? your excess melanin begs to differ.

  • The type of milk Y O U drink sucks...

I just made coconut almond milk =)

    Win on WIN

  • I disagree with Shawn trying to promote milk just because it may or may not be processed or where it comes from. The fact is, humans didn't evolve on milk, they didn't run down wild animals and then milk them. Regardless of the processing or what animal it comes from, a lot of epople are still going to have problems with it and it may not be the healthiest thing to consume. I don't like either dairy, processed or not, I stay away from it, that's just what my body says. You decide for yourself.

  • @BryanEKS89 THANK YOU! I get a lot of criticism from my daughter's grandmother because I don't give her cow's milk, but you name me one other creature on this planet that drinks milk past infancy, OR drinks the milk of another species. I'm not a purist - I'll use it for cooking and coffee, but you aren't going to convince me that cow's milk is somehow a requirement for a child to be healthy. She was breast fed, that's milk enough.

  • Have u heard of evolution u fucktard XD

  • @bellyzbad

Are you replying to me? Did you know that in the past 50,000 years the human gene hasn't really changed, AT ALL? Drink milk if you want. But you can't have it both ways, because remember, Shawn also supports the Paleolithic diet, that is, eating what our ancestors did. This is how I base my entire diet off of. But, I believe in personal genetics over everything, so if it works for you then by all means use it and don't let anyone tell you different, but I'll tell you,it's not for me

  • @BryanEKS89 i do understand what america dose to it milk and i do disagree with what they do ¬¬ and i made this comment before i watched the whole video sorry

  • @BryanEKS89 butthe funny thing was that are ancestors did not live long even know they had great diet and excuses

  • By the way. White people are evil yet they get a free pass everywhere they go because everyone is brainwashed.

  • @DiversePersona

I'm Sorry but I do not abide that racist level of thinking. I am White, but I have never done anything evil. Never raped, killed, stolen, it would be a lie to say i haven't lied as we all lie from time to time. I am not guilty of what my ancestors did, nor do I blanketly blame an entire race of people for what a few bad apples did. You claim Diversity from your net handle, but you are nothing than a bigot in my eyes.

  • @Nortatem You're right..you're not the devil..It's the Elites that are..So many people are blinded by race and don't realize who the true enemy is.

  • @Machelle3200 god im so tired of hearing about ''the elites are evil'' are they really? how can you be shure? conspiracy videos made my teens?

  • @Machelle3200 and who are the '' elites'' please tell me. and i want the names

  • Comment removed

  • Oh shut the fuck up everyone. Bunch of idiots on here. Milk was never meant to be drank in the first place by humans. If you were living way back than you would never suck the nipples of a Cow. NEVER!

  • @DiversePersona you're right...but whites need milk because their bodies are lacking the ability to make or abosorb vitamin D.

  • @Machelle3200

*then. Well, good for them. Hopefully those Southerns die first.

  • @Machelle3200 That can't be true - I'm white, no dairy or meat in 17 years, no symptoms of D deficiency.

When u say whites can't abosorb vitamin D, do u mean in pill form?....because you're suggesting we can absorb it in milk form.(which I have doubts about, since humans lose the ability to properly digest milk after age 4, as nature intended)

  • @Gary1111001 no they can't absorb it from the sun....that's where you get natural vitamin d...but whites can't abosorb it properly...lack of melanin....

  • @Machelle3200 Everyone can get vitamin D from the sun(but it does vary by person and height of Sun). Sun must be more than half way up. Sunscreen blocks absorption of D.

  • sorry, let me expand on why I think this video is fantastic. Because I've been on holiday in the east, and have been drinking milk beverages without ANY of the symptoms I experience in London UK. Sean, I may have disagreed with some of your videos in the past, but I can put my hands up and say that I'm loathing the fact that I'm coming back to London in 2 days, and will have to go back to an inferior produce or pay through the roof for a limited *true grass fed* variety, that is so scarce.

    ty

  • How is Amasai made?

  • fantastic video

  • drink vanilla almond milk instead.

  • @KevinCali24 even worse! Creates estrogen in the male body, basically turn your testosterone off.

  • @bigchicken24 You're thinking of soymilk, pure almond milk will not up your estrogen levels.

  • @nairb2693 You're right i got them mixed up! My bad

  • @bigchicken24 bs i have never heard that, where did you hear that from a cow milk commercial? =/

  • @KevinCali24 Just cuz you never heard of it doesn't make it "bs" retard! Go do some research for you self, cuz this is well known information!

  • @bigchicken24 are you retarded, you already admitted on the 4th comments page that you got soy and almond milk mixed up... LOL almond milk doesnt do shit with hormones... u r a friggen idiot LOL telling me to do research, take a look at my youtube channel and you will feel like a pretty underwhelming person compared to me. ;)

  • @KevinCali24 I"m talking about soy milk NOT! Almond Milk i already said that! Stop reaching, you clearly are taking YouTube seriously! Take your negativity and stupidity else where

  • @KevinCali24 Ugh, I miss vanilla almond milk!! Stupid food intolerances.

  • Stay thirsty my friends

  • @DrVJJ I don't drink dairy very often But when I do, I prefer Amasai.

  • @DrVJJ i dont always drink milk, but when i do i drink indian cow milk.

  • @DrVJJ LOL!

  • @UndergroundWellness lol.. I was thinking the same thing when i wrote that earlier

  • all lifes very best all the time.
