actually this program works better in safe mode, but probably will not fix your boot problem, does the pc freeze at the same point everytime? you could boot in safe mode and run a disk scan

it's not a matter of permission as it is of the fact that it's put as one of the system files, which should not be deletable like that. if you know the old old fashion command line's then you can open it up and tell your computer to delete the file though derect command. I can ask my step dade latter if you can't find the command on the internet. and also you could use a program called "KillBox" which proboble dose a similar thing. I am about to use it on my bro's computer so I can not say much.

use Vundofix, it deletes the undeletable. If all else fails, rename the infected file and then delete it.

Hmmm, a runtime error could be a number things, but usually it is a software thing that is missing, Try running windows update from the windows update site. or watch my video on event viewer and see if that helps.

ok after I talk on the phone with a hp support speciallist and i did what ever they told me to do, it only make my computer get worse now everytime i turn the computer on i not able to see the screen anymore. I check the cables back again and everything seen's right all i know is that im not going to unplug cables from a computer any more. Yeah it cam be very dangerous to unplug anything from the computer if it is on.

You might get luck if you unplug the power cords to your pc and your monitor and then hit the power switch like you are turning it back on. then plug them both back in and turn them on. that has worked for me before. It drains the capacitors and the logged memory.

About my memory card reader problem what I did is call HP customer service see if they were able to help me to fix it but not. They make me unplug and plug in cords from inside the monitor, now my computer it dosen't work I ma have to send it to fix it.

That's to bad about your computer.

I would unplug the power cord and go back inside your machine and make sure all of the plugs are plugged in properly. Maybe you knocked a cable loose or something, although you say it doesn't work any more but what exactly do you mean by that? what does it do or not do?

highjackthis makes a backup of your registry before you make any changes. you should be able to do a restore with highjackthis and see if that brings your card reader drives back. or run the system restore and see if that works.

You should try running the program while you are in safe mode maybe it will get rid of the 018 entry that way, or you may have to spend a lot of hours searching for the right file to get rid of.

Then click on Search hidden files and folders.

Search it or the Malware name and then wait it it find it then press Open Folder and there ya have it.

Also you can delete files that way too.

Remove programs you dont need is useful while under siege from viruses!

If you can start up in safe mode you should be able to uninstall the software, and turn the program off in msconfig, also delete the program folder that the popup created.
