naw...the z warriors are weaker in this time line since they didnt train. they werent even prepared to face anything like the androids. vegeta who is way stronger then goku in that timeline gets killed easy. even when trunks tells them about about the up coming battle, they try to gain up on them and still get there ass beat like nothing. so goku wouldnt of made of difference no matter which time line it was, if they fought the androids head on. they all would of been killed except for gohan.

no i didnt make a mistake because i compared both time lines. goku is weak in both time lines if he fault the androids head on without the virus. dont forget the androids never went all out against trunks, they only made sport of him. so if goku fault them he would still lose. i'm not saying he wont put up a good fight but he would still get killed in the end.alot of people think goku and cells fight was even. but goku was no were near cells true power.

for one there was no way goku was going to win against cell no matter how hard he fought. goku was at full power the whole time and going all out, but cell wasnt even showing all of power but basically testing goku to see how close he was to his perfect power. two goku couldnt even go ssj2 because FPSSJ was his max at the time in the cell games. the only time cell really showed his true power was against ssj2 gohan and he was beat bad.

goku wasnt going to fight the androids after he recoverd because he knew a regular ssj wouldnt be strong enough to fight them. even when he was knocked out on his meds, he could still sense what was going on. he already knew vegeta and everyone else got there ass's handed to them by the androids. plus goku said something like if vegeta couldnt do it, then i know i cant win. thats when he decides to enter the room of time and spirit

This is the prefect tribute to the perfect Gohan. There was so much more that could have been shown with Future Gohan, I want to know more about his time growing up in an apocalyptic world, being the only one able to do anything to stop the androids.
