I have one with a lipstick tube pickup in the middle and two mini humbuckers. Ive had it for years and swapped a USA strat for it - it is that good. Really versatile - it rocks, it strums like an acoustic - perfect gigging guitar. And no Im never selling it! Check my channel for a few tunes.
I had one of these in black back in '97. Kick myself for selling it. The pickups handle distortion surprisingly well, and the clean tones are awesome.
I have a powder blue one. Nice guitar. Similar in tone to my Strat. Has a nice five way toggle switch, and a bridge and whammy similar to the Strat. Nice and clean or I can get a lot of grit through my 5150. Very happy with it, especially for the price.
