@Killer91109 LOL :D ive been driving but shattered the front and rear bearing carriers and the bulkhead but fixed it all and went alloy for the carriers all around but i need new camber links to let them fit right, the bulkhead i ziptied, and i dont think i can do driveway vids anymore! at 60 mph u cover 88 feet per second and my driveway is only like 350 feet long. so i need some parking lots, my HS has a HUGEE lot and its only 1 mile away
Dude I bought talons just for the rear :) I have gears ranging from 25, 28 and 31 pinions and 83 and 76 spurs, I can try the 25/83 for off road with loose slipper clutch and 31/76 or 28/76 for on road :)
hey man thats the exact battery that my dad has in his rustly, veeery powerful :L and just wondering about tyres for it,, high speed running tyres i have seen rear talons get 70mph+ a lot, and the same with jaco foams. i run 31/76 atm, just on road with fully tightened slipper, havent run it properly yet though. im not sure what tyres i should get for it to go high speeds, and what sizes so as not to cook my motor and esc. any suggestions? :D
@daplaneflyer YEA!! today my freind cameover so i tossed the esc into training mode and it could still go like 30 but not faster than that, and he hit a parked car and broke the upper shock tower and the bulkhead -,-
@iansudduth22 WOw i might do that. some people are lucky to run temps like that lMAO! my merv and run 45 minutes with 23/50 but my ruslter can run 5 minutes with 28/83!!
@hockeydude5122 i ran 5 minutes and it went into thermal shutdown with 28/83 (STOCK GEARING) with talons -.-. it got so hot i poured water on the motor and it sizzled and immediately evaporated
@hockeydude5122 i dont know really i might ask my LHS, im starting to think my esc has a defect because its not even hot when it goes into thermal, its maybe 95 degrees. i did by my esc and motor opened up. i might take it to the LHS and see what they can do
