I could have saved $60.00 by watching these videos instead of purchasing two beginner level videos which didnt help at all. What a great way to get your feet wet with Ableton. Thanks for the vidoes.
Is live recording the only way to arrange tracks in arrangement view or can you simply put which patterns and when those patterns come in and out of the song structure?
@StormEagle21 you don't need to record live from Session View - you can also drag and drop clips from Session View into Arrangement if you'd like. You can also edit and record clips in Arrangement View.
i'm using the demo version now of intro, and it's amazing for doing demos as shown here. it's one of the most hardware friendly DAWs i have used.....i do mostly guitar stuff and this thing can handle amplitube and guitar rig running at the same time, which sonar can't even do to save itself
great, very very helplful, thanks! However, please go ahead and stop repeatedly saying "go ahead" like the boss guy in 'Office Space'; over 6 videos its as irritating as the tune.
@MrRidisc Live intro is live 8. There is Suite, Live and Intro. Suite being the most expensive is the full version, Live is 2nd same as suite just less sounds and effects, and intro is the same but with even less sounds and effects. So pretty much the less money you spend the less you get.
perfect. this helped me! thx u very much.
