this is not bad. I mean, put aside the fact that it is a little insulting considering how incredibly the original scene is, but as far as how this was edited to fit the scene, it's not terribly. Okay to all the confused here the point here is to ruin the scene. 'Free Bird' doesn't fit with the pacing and in connection to this scene is hits you over the head with its overly literal connection to Richie leaving this world and his bird Mordecai who he sets free (it is also simply a terrible song). The implication is that Zemeckis, being a terrible director, would have chosen such a piece and ruined the scene.
