they are prone to joint problems and respiritory problems because theyve been bred to have pushed in faces and big heads and chest, making it hard for them to breathe and go through labour (because of the breathing). but it depends, i have 3 bulldogs, and they are all different. one has awful breathing, thus not managing too long a walk, but the other two have very good breathing and could go on forever. it depends how much they have been interbred, and basic family line.

I have one and no they don't always smell bad, lol. They smell good, well mines does. I wash my doggie every 1 to 2 weeks, depending on if he's dirty or if he got into the mud or rain. But they do snore, so they might have respritory problems...I'm not positive though.
