Just brilliant to not say 'Judge Fudge' but have it right there written in front of you. I bet a lot of people didn't even see it. Great show!

While dieting is not the answer (once you're obese your body will keep pulling you back there for the rest of your life), prevention by instilling the values of eating healthy and being active should be strongly encouraged at a young age for all. Obese people shouldn't be discriminated against though, they need to be able to work and have health care just like everyone else. Although, studies need to emphasize that only a bmi over 30 is likely to lead to health risks.

The P.C. crowd expects society to be totally accepting of obesity. Rejoicing in it, even (Big Beautiful Women, Fluffy, etc). While it's certainly no excuse to be rude, I think it should at least be addressed. I think obesity SHOULD be something people ought to avoid. It SHOULD be fought against. Every person who works hard to be fit has to pay outlandish insurance premiums because insurance has to cover the chronic conditions of millions who simply don't give a shit. That's wrong.

@chessdawgz actually that's an interesting choice of words - "self-conscious"ness so often being interchangeable with insecurity. self-awareness, we do need. of habits and health. but if the focus is on appearances - on fat - the focus is off.

it is not a simple thing for a fat person to get unfat. and i'm more worried about the hatred of fat people. unhappy people often fat because it's socially conscionable AND economical to eat shit- that is, because they lost when chance assigned their class
