I just bought this game for the Wii and am experienceing some difficulties. When it first starts up, it says: No save file found, would you like to create one?" Naturally i go to select yes... Thats when the trouble starts.... I press yes over and over and nothing happens. I literally got the game 1 day ago, from Walmart. I bought the limited edition bundle pack with the classic controler pro. Please someone help.... This game looks funner than the version on the 64!

@thenoobguru well I already got half life (which was surprisingly good for a game (never played it before)) and almost beat all of it in the orange box except for the last level I got tired of the giant walkers beating me so I stopped playing it for a while. But yeah I played source. Its pretty fun however no single player kinda stinks and there isn't as many levels as I would have liked. I am hopping they come out with the new ones soon. And maybe a single player aspect.

most of the gameplay you see was done in modes like LTK (one hit kill) and with low gravity turned on, and some in paintball mode. Its not how the game plays normally. it just adds a little something extra and thats what i was playing when recording. not to mention this game has had numerous updates since this was released.

Just buy the orange box. because, no you cant just have portal. half life 2 is the best game in the decade of 2000. just buy it.

yeah but with crysis it wasn't as obvious as that video shows. And sometimes rag doll is funny other times its just kinda weird.

But yeah from all the videos iv seen online it seems no matter what all game types its like one shot kills which I don't like. I have been in games like that and in a 30 minute play though people respond about a 100 times and I don't like that. I want it so it takes a little while before you go down.

Why port to Nintendo DS rather than a console?

Because I have a 3.5 hour bus commute EVERY DAY where I couldn't take a Wii/360/PS3 with me but I could take a Nintendo DS since it is small, light and has a long battery life.

I know there is a lot of hate on Nintendo, but the DS is dismissed unfairly as with the right stylus (thumb-mounted) it is the best PORTABLE console to play FPS games on as the touch pad used that was is better than even a 360's joystick and is very similar to mouse aim.

I don't know if you've ever tried this but it looks funny, play multiplayer with any characters, make it so you can see one in 3rd person (put 2 people in a room.) The wield an weapon, look down with the C button, then hit the Left and Right C button quickly and your player with look like dancing, or having seizure. lol

Both the mods are free, fan-made efforts.

I haven't tried the Perfect Dark mod, but apperently the servers are dead so it may be a waste of time.

The Goldeneye servers definately aren't, however. Installation is easy, just go over to the website and download the installer, install. You need to patch it also. Once you've done that, it should just be in your Steam games list :D

Nice. I was gonna get Counter-Strike: Source for that whole zombie thing, but this will be a lot better. I was also wanting to know if the CSS players can play with the Half Life players (or whatever else this mod works on) Thought it might be all on the same server or something.

if thats the case then its your internet connection. either your signal is bad or you just have a bad connection speed.

You need to have a Source engine game like Half-Life 2 or Counter-Strike. If you don't want to spend much money, then you can just get Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, which is only $5 and comes with the Source SDK content which will allow you to play Goldeneye Source.
