  • Oh, yeah, I'd know Super-Locrian mode anywhere. Can't pull that one past me **COUGHbullshiteCOUGH** Um **shifty eyes**...sounds awesome! They really should give us at least 2 thumbs up buttons.

  • Wonderful music. Very calm and soothing. I like it a lot.

The machine is beautiful. I have absolutely no idea how it works, but I want one for christmas. ;)

  • @ThumbsAtWork Thanks! It's a ton of fun, especially if you have any mad scientist in you. It is a money pit as most modular folks will admit. You better get with Santa quick and be on his good list!

Thanks everyone, so glad you're digging it.

  • Sun Ra FTW. Space is indeed the place.

Great patch. On my way to ckeck out part 2.

    cheers

  • Very pretty :)

  • Really nice sounds ,Great stuff as always : )

  • Fantastic!!! *******

  • Brilliant.......I love it. Great atmosphere.

  • Sounds great at 2am too...

  • Glorious, ever evolving, mysterious, beguiling, wonderful sounds Herr Doktor! This is what I want my modular to sound like from now on. I can't believe the motm 650 has been shelved, before I could get one.

  • @sduck409 glad you like! It's too bad about the 650 (MOTM MIDI to CV converter). I'm not using all the features here (like the arpeggiators) but am using all 4 channels for the 4 voices. The next best thing would probably be the Encore Expressionist depending on your needs.

  • love it! sun ra wiggled his thumbs because of this. whats the white looking thing under the monster? and do you still sport two pro0ones?

  • @dudeohyeahable - haha - someone got the Sun Ra reference. Underneath the modular is an Alasis Andromeda (not used in the video). I swap out keyboards underneath. I don't have any Pro-Ones but I have 2 Korg Monopoly's you're probably thinking of. Thanks!!

  • @doctorvague More than one. I saw Sun Ra perform at an art festival in Baltimore back in...oh...1986 or so. What a brilliant mad man. Oh, and I also first heard/heard of Sun Ra in 1978 (I think) doing Space is the Place. Heard it on the radio while I was playing with my first actual synth...and ARP Axxe that my brother and I had just bought from a friend. Oh, so long ago **sigh**

  • Wow, super stuff doc! It sounds great on headphones at 3am......
