It is not any states responsibility to secure the border. It is a federal responsibility and the federal gov't has sued states that attempt to act even within the federal immigration laws. I don't particularly like in-state tuition for illegals but it is a small issue. Cain does not seem to have a problem with supporting Romney even thought Romney brought socialized medicine to MA.
@PsychoBurgundy3 HC said his favorite Fed Chairman was Alan Greenspan. Ron Paul rightly told him Greenspan was a disaster. That comment shows that Cain doesn't understand the damage the Fed has done to the economy and I think that disqualifies him for office. IMHO.
@97evensteven who says "Herman and obama will get all the black votes, retard".
I am not sure what you are driving at, if the two are running against each other, of course they will get all the votes, unless some vote 3rd party or write in (unlikely). I pointed out that those two vs each other, Blacks will still vote for Obama 90% vs 10% Cain, because blacks have been trained to vote for whoever screams "racist" the loudest.
@97evensteven who says "Herman cain knows that he will get all the black votes."
The black people will vote as always , maybe Herman will pull 5% more black vote, but that is about it. Not saying 5% isn't a big help (it is), but blacks are the most racist voting block in the electorate. They are bought and sold democratic.
herman cain's campaign isn't organized enough to win the nomination, even though on paper he reflects the tea party's values better than anyone else. on top of that, herman cain would not win the general election because obama's camp would run a smear campaign accusing cain of wanting to privatize social security, which is more or less the case, and would deter senior citizens form voting for cain. in all likelihood, herman cain will be offered the job of secretary of the treasury after november

If Perry or Romney are the nomination Obama has a chance. If Cain wins he takes the race card off the table. If Cain wins too many of Obama's voters have no reason to support him. If Cain is the nominee in 2012 he is the next president.
@jeepndd The race card can be taken off the table if Marco Rubio is put up as the VP. To suggest that is the ONLY way any GOP nominee can will is naive.
@MGMtz69 What? Marco Rubio is white. Hispanic is a cultural not racial distinction, they are Caucasians. Adding Rubio is just adding a white guy who knows a little Spanish.
@jeepndd I agree Hispanics/Latinos are White - being Hispanics is ethnicity not a race. What exactly did I say that makes you believe I do not know the difference?
As far as Rubio, it is his culture and ethnicity that will connect him with the Latin community. 72% of Hispanics feel the GOP is hostile towards them and with the on going rhetoric, they are not likely to gain more support for the fasting voting block. Which is a shame considering that the culture alone is conservative in nature.
@pwrslm Herman Cain wants a new national sales tax on top of the existing income tax, supports the Patriot Act, supports the wars, supports the secret military tribunals, supports the torture, mainly supports the TSA, and he worked for the Federal Reserve Bankster System in policy and was a Skull & Bones member just like the big spending, Constitution-hating authoritarian RINO BUSH.
Cain is an Progressive, NeoCon, Authoritarian Statist Establishmen PIMP

If I had to vote TODAY, it would be most definately be Herman Cain. I'm waiting to see if Christi gets into the mix. If that were to be the case, I would most definately vote for him. He, to me, is the most no-nonsense, get the job done, I don't care what you think of me, candidate to date. I love the way he gets into the faces of people....take no prisoners!!!
He said he couldn't support him today, that doesn't mean he wouldn't vote for Perry if he was the nominee. I won't support Perry either, but if it came down to Perry vs. Obama you can bet your ass I'd vote for Perry. Cain is what we need for our country right now. The election isn't today so I don't see why so many are getting in a uproar unless they're looking for an excuse not to support Cain.
Nicely said Mr Cain, Rick perry is not a true conservative he wants to continue to use federal dollars to send the children of illegal immigrants to school, we need somebody in office that wont continue to appease illegal immigrants, thats part of the reason why were in the mess were in now, if herman cain gets the nomination i will gladly vote for him
@ResistIslamToday hmm no not really. They go to k-12 by mandate under Janet Reno. The instate tuition issue requires they be on the path to citizenship so they end up contributing to the Fed tax. It dose not cost anyone in Tx a red cent.
You are missing the point. The questions was IF Perry was the nominee would you support him? The answer was NO. Which means if he is not for the GOP the only alternative is Obama. BAD answer, really bad answer!
@MGMtz69 im not supporting perry because he is just like obama when it comes to illegal imigration and we dont need another illegal immigrant appeaser in office, and alot of my fellow conservatives feel the same way, we dont want another president that will continue to give illegal aliens a free ride for breaking the law, if perry isnt going to crack down on them hard then im not supporting him or anybody thats light on immigration issues
@ResistIslamToday Don't know if you are aware of this or not - but Governors of states do not have the power to deport - the "assumption" is just that, an assumption. Not once did he ever say he was for amnesty.
@MGMtz69 All im saying is we dont need another president thats going to be soft on illegals and border security issues, soft border policies is partly why were in the mess were in today, illegals have overrun everything from public schools, to health care systems, social security, and the job market, im not saying its all the illegal mexicans fault but they are apart of the problem the other part is lack of leadership in washington dc and criminals like obama and holder
@ResistIslamToday Again, state governors do not have that authority. You tie someones hand and attempt to blame them for the problem that was created by someone else and that is unfair.
@ResistIslamToday Tx spent 400 million of it's own money to secure the border. Something the federal government failed to do. He also passed "no sanctuary city" legislation, he is also against amnesty. That is hardly pro illegal immigration.

I guess he thinks Tx was "pretending" to secure the border when they spent 400 million to do a job that the feds refuse to do themselves. Very disappointing Mr. Cain, very disappointing.
@MaxAbby8833 I never said nor did I imply that it was enough but let us keep in mind Tx, Az, NM and CA should never be required to secure their borders with MX when it is the FED's job.
@MaxAbby8833 - NO, what I am saying is that I would like the federal government to do it's dang job and secure so Texas wouldn't be forced to do it for them. They have failed. Texas tried not to educated illegals and guess what, the supreme court said you HAD to. See Plyer vs. Doe.
