i wouldn't call it original by any means.. updated version of the same poem written 1000 times before, listening to prince (1999) and thinking of all the things the poet wished would happen to him.
am sorry, but no, it's trite, it's played, it doesn't give me any reason to be excited, just tells me to, all the while reminding me of 100 things that aren't happening.
this is like a studio 'applause' sign - why are we clapping again? oh yeah - because he told us to.
I have been playing this on repeat for the last 4 hours. It is the single greatest piece of creative poetry that I have ever heard in my entire life. Everyone in the world needs to hear this. Today. Right now.
This is such an awesome display of inspirational poetry. Rock out like you have just went to your high school reunion and you find out everyone, even the women, are all overweight and balding, except for the former homecoming queen who has just been divorced by her impotent husband and only has eyes for. . . you. - Ballin'.
