This seems a little ineffective, you can't move, I suggest people to save up $38 and get a Cam Caddie Scorpion. It easily holds my camera and lights/mics/monitor if necessary. My videos have never looked so clean. It will last a lifetime.
@TSEpictures Yes it the first model that came out. I bought it on clearance. I still see them every so often but are becoming rare. I also bought a Flip too the first model with only a half hour recording time, and on clearance. That's what I recorded most of the video with. Some of the audio was from one camera with the video from the other.
@FenderGibsonWashburn Really? How do I get audio off of other videos? I only have Window Movie Maker, and my only MP3 player that allowed me to record my voice and save it as a sound file broke.
@TSEpictures Use a program that will convert the video to other formats, in this case MP3 audio. I use ffmpeg but there are many free video converters out there. Just turn off the volume on the clip and put the audio you do want on the audio line. The hardest thing is to sync up the audio and video perfectly.
I once tried to use my MP3 player to record the audio and it sounded bad. I bought a RCA digital recorder for around $30 and it works great. Sorry to hear about your MP3 player.
@FenderGibsonWashburn Thanks. What converter do you think is best? I have a 2005 Dell Dimension 3000, when I set it up those years ago, I only set it up for gaming and writing, I didn't have a clue about making movies, so I don't have alot of space or DVD drives, so whats the best converter that wont make my computer slow?
Hi Paul, sorry it's taken me so long to comment- Great video, thanks for the video response. This is an excellent method that I have not come across before. I'l definitelyl be sure to put it to the test.
No problem Rick, I know you had a busy weekend. I'm happy you were able to find the time to respond with the hundreds of emails you got this weekend. Take care of that sunburn. (8^/>
