  • Don't let anyone tell you its to hard or anything, just keep playing and it will eventually become perfect, don't let anyone project there self defeating attitude on you!

  • cute

  • yoooo slowwwwwww

  • Wonderfull playing....of the hardest piece ever composed for guitar.

What many people don't know about the classical guitar...(those who know electric or steel achoustic, is the action is about, average, 5mm at the 12th fret.! Compare that too 1:5/3 mm for electric guitar...can be even lower.

Unless you have tried to play a classical guitar with such high action, you have no idea of the problems it causes....when moveing up the neck.

  • was that Asturias from Albeniz

  • very nice !!!!

  • I really love it could you show how to play it please.thanks

  • AMORCITO, ERES LINDA Y TALENTOSA. GRACIAS POR TUS VIDEOS CON TU MUSICA DE GUITARRA.

  • That is actually better than my own crude version.Ive been playing 40 years mostly flamenco type, never learned to read music nor tabs.I just do my own thing i dont play in public. My tremolo is in reverse order 123 rather than 321.You keep up the good works.................

  • amazing skills keep on....

  • very very nice.

  • perfect

  • beautiful

  • hey..do i have to alternate between the i and m fingers on the B string..?

  • @TheAlexlovable Yes you do

  • @H3llJester thnx so much for replying..do u have any tips for me?...i really wanna play this piece

  • @TheAlexlovable Keep practising everyday and play it slower. It doesn't matter how fast you play, start slowly.

  • @H3llJester ok...i am practicing thank you :)

  • NOT BAD! i see them lessons i gave you have paid OFF! keep practising !!!! you will get there in the end !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • asturias is a piece that needs months of preparation..however your attemp it isn't bad:) you must improve the part of triplets

  • You did it, quite nice!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice Piece Csybu. Difficult. Thanks for sharing!

  • There are a lot of areas that could use some touching up, especially with the dynamics of this piece. There's more than just one voicing in it. Aside from the strange strumming of the chords, and the tremolo's needing some work, overall, you did very well in memorization, but I would recommend solfeging the piece section by section. It really helps.

  • I'm working on this piece myself, and I was making the same mistake that you made within the first section of it. That B on the 6th string should ring out until you strike it again. You're killing the note prematurely. The first tremolo that you come to you have the right movement, but you slowed it down a bit. Try taking that section and practice a proper follow through with your i and m fingers. It makes a world of a difference.

  • At 0.25 you needn't change stance of your hands, better yet, they should remain in same position with flat E pressed. It is somewhat hard at first to do it without touching other strings but as female you probably have thinner fingers than i do so it should be easier.

Also, flat string pace is slowing the tune down extremely, you should practise that solely to speed it up first, try to get it to reflex instead of something you think before doing each time.

    Good job still.

  • need a little more work on tempo especially

  • I really appreciate your playing! You are like me. You try so hard. God bless you for sharing your talents with us!

  • I really appreciate your playing! You are like me. You try so hard. God bless you for sharing your talents with us!

  • just keep rocking it! you almost got it!

  • play fast...

  • you started too fast, try to play the wole song at the same tempo. You have to work slowly and practise some passages. Keep on

  • the accompaniying part is tway too loud in the beginning and you tend to slow down on the harder passages and one more thing to say is that you are very stiff and you lack emotion . try to listen from the renditions of segovia or williams and inspire yourself. for a self taught like you , yu ve done a very good job .

  • Nice playing, I like it :) Best wishes,

    Gemma

  • yeahh!!! very good.....

  • Just WooooW.... you are amaaaaaazing...;)

  • Start slower, you start too fast so you change your speed when you have to play the triplets part.. Nevertheless nice playing.

  • your playing has warmth and emotion, as well as technique :) duende

  • your playing has warmth and emotion, as well as technique :)

  • Awesome! You certainly have talent!

  • I think not anybody can play this song, i admire the way you play guitar, im already working on it because you inspired me to play it ( i must admit its a really hard piece)...

Keep playing girl, i think you have talent, and remember, negative posts are the best way to make you grow!!! :D best wishes.. :D

  • Not bad; but I believe you can play much more better if you keep practising...Good luck...

  • very good

  • For those with such distinguished palettes as to discern flaws in this piece, present your credentials, or have the decency not to discourage a flower that dares to bare it's petals. Bravo for your efforts, in my ignorance I enjoyed your representation of the piece. I think you are wonderful!

  • Please do not let the idiots with their intolerance and ignorance keep you from the success the love of music and hard work will eventually come to you. I do not play anything but am surrounded by those who try and it is always a thrill to be there when one of those have their moment of success. If it were easy , we would all be wizards!!! good luck.

  • There are a lot of adverse comments here. Too many. I will say the ability is there but, begin a lot slower and then you'll find it easyer to play with a consistant tempo throughout the piece. Thanx 4 posting, and good luck.

  • I'm sorry dear, I have to "dislike" this. But much respect for having the guts to post the whole heart-wrenching 7 minutes.

  • does it have to be really absolute?

  • She kills the song.

  • @Eliel8647 At least she is trying... If you can do better post a video of yourself playing.. Hater

  • Patronising bastards! it isn't perfect but at least she's having a go!

  • @rabbamonkey doing a piece that is too much difficult for your thur skill is a nonsense. To do a piece like this you need right and left hand perfect tecnique!!!

  • @nic93107

Or you just have a go and upload the video.... constructive criticism is fine. I'm sure you can upload a video demonstration to display perfect right and left hand technique?

  • @rabbamonkey i didn't say i can do this piece perfectly. i said that doing a piece too much difficult for you is meaningless...

  • @nic93107 How exactly do you learn the techniques for that song perfectly without playing the song? this is the worse advice ever .

  • @solerkris i think you are wrong. This piece needs a perfect fingerstyle techinique but also a perfect left technique; it's aimless to play a too difficult piece without theese skills. To improve them it's foundamental to play exercise such as 120 arpeggi by giulian.

  • You cant play that in tempo....let it go....you dont have technique for such piece...

  • Это не "Астурия"

  • You need some practise :)

  • fail

  • do u have the taps?

  • very good

  • this isnt you best. I am sure if you try harder and give it time you will get it

  • very class

  • she has a good memory

  • no......sorry this version vey bad!

  • maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannn

  • Comment removed

  • @amirner sometimes i do the same thing

i feel switching them will allow me to play faster :)

  • Comment removed

  • really so nice, your timing is so good!

  • its really good. but try to play easier songs. perhaps you try to play some studies of tarrega. asturias is far away too complicated for your level. but it is not that bad. just go on studying. good luck

  • If the beggining is slowed down, it would sound much better. It would also help if the mic is set a bit further from the guitar.

  • slow

  • This is a little bit hard piece of music, but do not stop to practice it. I heard many wrong notes, but I am sure you'll be a master on that guitar. Keep playing.

  • it´s amazing what you have achieved in just one year from the Lagrima piece. Mistakes? yeah we all make them. A lot of courage, and most important great stamina! it´s a large piece

  • i do agree that it is none perfect and there partcs were you need a full chord with less left finger movements but i still respect youi for the other videos you have to offer about differet rasgueados :)

  • great cover, check out my version

  • Don't listen to all the naysayers.

  • Don't listen to all the nay-sayers.

Keep doing the impossible...keep crashing and burning (not that you did).

I'm glad to see you here. Not many women either play or have the courage to post their progress.

  • Don't listen to all the nay-sayers.

Keep doing the impossible...keep crashing and burning (not that you did).

If you have what it takes...you will be driven naturally.

I'm glad to see you here. Not many women either play or have the courage to post their progress.

  • tragic interpetation.................first of all it's not in your level this piece.........it's much harder........secondly you have different tone in the beggining than in the most difficult part of the allegro......third you can't play the chords in the allegro part...........fourth you have noumerable mistakes in the notes of the andante part and in the coda.......you have to practice a lot in order to play this song as it deserves to be played...............

  • @danny7cris You should be ashamed of your pitiful self!!! This girl has the courage to post a video. You have not even done that. If you follow her videos, you will see that she has not only progressed, but brought much joy to the rest of us. Do you bring joy...NO!!! Do you hide behind a screen name and teeze someone you will never have to face...YES. You are a coward.

  • @demofactory the comment is not mine...i mean a guy was commenting via my profile without having changed account....you 're right about the comments but it's not my responsibility..

  • @danny7cris Hi, Sorry I blasted when it was someone else using your account. Please pass my comment on to the person who used your account. Thanks and have a great day friend.

  • @demofactory never mind...you were right:)

  • Running before you can walk!

Set the metronome to a slow tempo and practice slowly over and over before trying to play li John Williams or one of such.

    My advice.

    :)

  • do you mind if i ask where youre from?

  • Tempo por favor!!

  • it te manque beaucoup d'exercice sur ce chef d'ouvre de issak albéniz ;)

  • @mohflamenco il te manque comment savoir écrire "Isaac Albéniz", mon ami.

  • more power to the melodie.

  • EDIIINA

You did not playing thes piece

    of Original spirit

    But played

    Your beautiiiiful soul

    You're a greeeat

    Kisses for yooo

  • жуть какая

  • да и не говори, девушка явно талантлива, но темп летает от строки к строке.

  • great job but keep in mind that you should play the begining slower to keep the rythem cause it sounds like you getting stuck or play the second pass faster so it match the rythem but still great job you should listen to segovia heplays itslow but stady great job again

  • no words... omg

this video should name "how to kill 1 master piece"

  • ¿Por qué Asturias mal tocada está como destacada?, ¿que pasa con youtube?

Why this bad interpretation of Asturias it´s a "Featured video"?

    What´s the problem with Youtube?

  • Tocas precioso Edine !!!!!!!

un saludo desde :CARTAGENA COLOMBIA S.A.

    MERY

  • what did she doing?

    bad

  • Thanks for sharing that. I'm working on that piece, too. It's a huge challenge!

Ignore the negative posts. Many people come to the internet to try to make people feel as bad as they do about themselves. Don't fall for it and don't worry about responding to them. The punishment of being trapped in their own narrow minds is good enough. Let them languish in their stupidity.

    Keep up the good work!

  • @bshwalker Most of us are just giving her helpful advices. and let me be honest about it, this is not good work, but it definitely is a good try. With a bit more pratcie she could master the piece. And I daresay she already mastered it as it's already been over 2 years. You should not be so closed minded. Part of being a great musician is to receive critiques from all kinds of audience.

  • @MrZuQuitar Theres a big difference between helpful advice and just being rude. If you feel you weren't rude then it shouldn't be a problem.

  • @MrZuQuitar whether they are qualified or not eh.

  • un poco mas de practica pero..... bien preciosa.

  • Bad

  • awsome.

    4:15

    XD

  • que cabrones comentarios, no mamen le salio bien.....

  • Keep studying and playing the masters and you shall become one yourself. Your music recall is outstanding and you are getting a grip on technique. Myself, I wouldn't think of posting anything that I did not have completely mastered, so kudos for guts and ambition. It honors me that others are trying as hard as I am.

  • no deberian dejar subir esto al youtube

  • xq no??

  • bad

  • at 46 u play wrong... it's not minore..it's majore...

  • keep on practicing and stop this sound(hit the guitar???...???)

  • great job.. keep on doing it.. chek and rate my version please..

  • you make such beautiful music.

  • i can't believe how snobby and rude many of these comments are! Music is music, there is no right or wrong way to play anything. Everyone should have their own interpretation, otherwise it's just a dispassionate robot mimicking what someone else has done.

So Edina, ignore these people! You're freaking awesome and I love your style :)

  • The first 30 seconds were fine, you were on beat but you could improve on the bass note. Play the bass note louder and clearer, it should not be softer than the accompaniment

After the 30th second, you may need more practice. Continue trying.

  • Less word more action, would love to see you playing it.

  • from 3:00 the following part isn't in time, you play it too fast for your level, just practise it slowly and the speed developes on itself

  • B B B B B .. :p where is bas voice

  • I don't like it, it doesn't sound like Asturias should be sound. You accompaniment is too loud. You should set off the melody. (Maybe it's because of poor quality of the recording, i don't know)

  • very nicely played, I know how hard it is, i try to play it too!!! I admire your courage!! Keep it up!!!!Greetings and respect from Bram D., Holland

  • I'm not an expert but there's something wrong in your playing, that's obviosly I can feel. I hope your perfect play.

  • you need somthing...i dont know what it is

  • yes she is very very pretty...but she need´s to improve her tecnhique a lot, practice more, and start to really feel the music...

  • good work ... but i think Farid El Atrach played it more efficiently on Oud. u can see Farid's version here watch?v=UtiK4QPLhWg

  • Hi pretty girl, I followed your flamenco lessons have served me much. THANKS ...

I will not be critical because I know that it is very difficult, I took 14 months to learn it.

  • Muy buén gusto, Enhorabuena.

  • No way! Great job.

  • Ne hallgass a hülyékre, nagyon jól csinálod! Így tovább!

  • tremolo....:(

  • Comment removed

  • so estou escutando a nota SI

  • ppl talks so much shit.. snobs... you play awesome!!

  • Very bad, you need to practice and develop your fingers. The rate is bad.

  • wheres your video then, asshole?!

  • Try to keep your tempo constant. You want to practice the full piece with no mistakes and then increase your speed later. At time 3:10 in this video, play with passion! John Williams plays this part to perfection.

  • that was good but u have to play it a litle faster

  • far better position!

  • nice cover but need pratice i once stop playing for a week and its totally gone hahas now i know why john william's is crazy...

  • Essa menina vai longe. É isso aí garota!

  • Great attempt, keep it up, you know where you want to be with your playing.

  • Remember that there are no true rules in music.......So take the skill that you have and create your own stuff so you can set your own tempo ;)

  • mui bien

  • good, but out of tempo. you need to practise.

    ps

    my english is not good

  • comletely out of tempo!!!!! although nice try...you need a lot of practice. this is piece is very advanced and you could have started with an easier one. keep practising and i m sure you will have better results

  • good , but out of tempo ...need to practise

  • Casate con migo and I will buy you your very own washing machine y una bicicleta!

  • euuh il y a pas mal de notes fauses .. (il faut voir ça, soit ta partition a été mal recopier, soit tu n'as pas fait attention)

  • Sorry sweet heart you need to practise bit more to play this .keep practising

  • maybe she meant to play it like that? it kinda sounded like it was intentional

  • esta hasta el huevo tíos, suena horrendo de aca a algunos años sonará decentemente

  • Comment removed
