I don't really like 'the story mode' in most of Rockstars games. GTA IV, Episodes from Liberty City, Red Dead Redemption etc. But what they allow the player to do outside the story mode more than makes up for it. I hope this game is similar as it's an open world game.

@haggs0009 Rockstar always seem the give the title character 'a conscience'. The story mode just develops and strengthens that ridiculous 'good guy' stigma that you can't change. So I just rush through the stupid story to get the whole world opened up. RDR was no better. A beautiful amazing game with violence galore only let down by Rockstars 'lets make him a good guy' safe ethics.

@angels77100 Niko Bellic wasnt necessarily a "good guy" You could go around killing Innocents. So could John Marston. They gave you that choice. You could make people fear you as you walked into town. Dialogue would change, so I think they give you a fair amount of choices in my opinion. For me, Rockstar makes the best games.

Niko Belic is a good guy with a conscience and that was acceptable. But Luis Lopez a criminal, drug dealer and all round hard man? Johnny Klebitz the Vice president of one of the meanest badass bike gangs in Liberty City? And John Marston, an outlaw and criminal? Rockstar developed a conscience for them to play safe. Marston was particularly pathetic.

Rockstar create amazing eviroments, but they suck at developing story lines. The reason I forgot CJ was because San Andreas was last generation gaming.
