I've extensively viewed many videos of failed missle attempts and especially the Bulava missle that was said to be the culprit. I have not seen anything at all similar to the chaos-less geometrical spiral pattern this phenomenon produced. Also, after doing research, I deduce that the missle smoke-trail in the background is not in the same area as the spiral. In fact, they may be hundreds of miles apart. I've extensively viewed many videos of failed missle attempts and especially the Bulava missle that was said to be the culprit. I have not seen anything at all similar to the chaos-less geometrical spiral pattern this phenomenon produced. Also, after doing research, I deduce that the missle smoke-trail in the background is not in the same area as the spiral. In fact, they may be hundreds of miles apart. Don't you think any of the surrounding countries would have seen this as well?

Well that might be because missiles do travel for miles m8. I didnt say about the smoke trail but since you mention it, the smoke is going outwards as the missile spins out of control. The reason this was not seen in other countries was because you have to be in the right position to see the effects based on the position of the sun at the time it was filmed. Thanks

I thought the beam looked like it was coming from behind the mountain, so I investigated and found in the same position there is a military compound or something.
The satalight imagery is poor but i can see high voltage power lines and what looks to be a airplane (grey in colour).
noticed during the event the lights from the city on the base of the mountain were totally out, then come on but with fluctuating brightness.

the beam was coming from beyond the mountains alright. due north-east from Tromsø. This I know because the pyramid-like building in the center of one of the videos is the Arctic Cathedral. Seen from the isle of Tromsø, that's north-east. Although seen from Alta it was also due east, not south as would been if it came from Eiscat. In other words, simple triangulation suggests it originates from outside of Norway, more precicely cirka the White Sea. Or possibly the Kola peninsula.
