The local police did have undercover dorks in there trying to make buys but they weren't able to find any. They did arrest and charge the security for having "illegal drugs" that they had taken from different people upon entry search.

Later the police went in front of the media & touting the arrests + a firearm that belonged to the ranch owner and was locked in a safe to justify how dangerous these parties are.

I think you've missed the point.

police are paid to protect and serve. Protect people from crime and help people when they need it. NOT to raid a bunch of people dancing to music on private property complete with helicopters, dogs, night vision, automatic weapons and a bad attitude. it's a case of the servants becoming the attackers.

I generally hate ravers and rave parties...too many over-reactive spoiled people. and pre planned the attack w/ other PD in the area. There was no complaint & just because drugs were "seen" does not mean that they can bust an entire event. Otherwise rock concerts should also be raided w/ combat guns! They targeted the ravers because they're "weak" & without the legal funds.

Not "guns" fully automatic military grade weapons... there is a really big difference. This was a planed in advance assault on the event, involving other SWAT Tac units from the local police depts. They're using their homeland security federal funding to buy these weapons, armor, dogs and copters to exercise control over the citizens of the nation. Welcome to bush america.
