  • This is seriously amazing....

  • great!

  • Two of my TOP favorite bands right here. This shit is amazing!

  • MAYNARD AND PATTON MY TWO FAVORITE SINGERS OF ALL TIME,AND IF YOU NOTICE I CAPITALIZED EVERY WORD THANK YOU,,,,,,,,,,,,ROSETTA STONED

  • @0506thekid rosetta stoned in my opinion tool's best song, the music takes me elsewhere, its just a complete mindfuck and for adam and justin to memorize all that just amazing. Best song, Best Band rosetta STONED

  • @OSTOPPLAYINGWITHYOUR you have good taste in music, dont let anybody convince you otherwise,

  • @OSTOPPLAYINGWITHYOUR can't agree more......don't know how many times i've listened to that song and just completely zoned out. So different from everything else that is out there......great lyrics too.....

  • @OSTOPPLAYINGWITHYOUR Well, Tool has songs that are harder to memorise, but yeah, Rosetta Stoned takes me fucking elsewhere.

  • great vocals

  • watch?v=UIJOfz1s4NA

  • faith no more can suck my saggy scrot sack. dont u ever compare them to anyone else again. unless theyre just as faggoty.

  • @YumYumYoMum Go suck your own cock, you Git!!! FNM kickass

  • great bass line

  • Mike Patton of Faith no More. A lot people remind me of him, including Maynard at points. He is sorta the grandfather of mixing vocal styles. Check out Mouth to Mouth by Faith no More. (such a fucked up vocal melody)

  • Reading about Maynard not being a great singer...it just fucking bothers me.I just want to say you might want to lend another ear at Aenima the whole album... He made history in my opinion ..... a real artist; obviously not if you think Linkin Park is music at all....Nothing personal cause I feel that you appreciate this sound. "To defy the laws of tradition.. it's a crusade only of the brave."

  • you use way too many periods.

but I agree, Maynard is probably like the second best singer ever.

  • Who would be first then?

  • i, too, am intrigued by the answer this dude might provide.

  • @xBillyTheKidx Of course I love Patton but in my opinion it's like putting an actor (Patton) next to a wizard (Keenan); not that it couldn't be said the other way around. As extremely talented as they are both. Patton takes you in so many directions and quite surprisingly, most of the time.

Maynard takes you to the "other side" , most of the time.

  • this could be the best thing ive ever seen.

  • i could have sworn i saw buzz on an episode of radio free roscoe. i wish it was true.

  • so far, not only in live footage, but also at a show, no matter how hard seemsAdam is getting into it, he has this persona that glows "content", "calm", dudes in the zone.

  • totally agree. He's always "chillin." its great

  • Arguing On The Internet Is Like Running In The Special Olympics: Even If You Win, You're Still Retarded

  • Capitalizing The First Letter Of Every Word You Type Looks Stupid

  • I'm Going To Have To Steal That One From You.. If You Ever See It On Another Video It Might Be Me.. Sorry But It's Fucking Awesome..

  • @rosettastoned451 tHIs lOOkS evEN morE sTupiD

  • @keimling70may9 Haha good one !

  • @keimling70may9 how original you creatively sapped retard.

  • @keimling70may9 And making stupid comments on YouTube which get thumbed up by people that are equally as stupid is like avoiding having your dick shoved in a meat grinder, you keep your dick but you're still a stupid cunt.

  • @rexasul ssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • lol the song sounds like Nirvana, with Maynard's vocals here.

  • the noise of the video and reading of the comments makes me feel im at the show listening to everybody talk.

  • "We've got BUZZZ from the MELVINS joining us!!!!

  • I was at this show! Coachella 99!

This was the fifth song in the setlist....This was the last show befor they came out with Lateralus.

  • the riff at 3:39 gave me a boner.

  • he sounds like the rem guy in this song.

  • that's just sad that you are searching for any attention at all, even negative...you need a hug or something?

everyone, don't "flame" this person, you will just be reinforcing it's already abused and distorted idea of human interaction!!!that's like giving a cutter a razorblade, don't help people selfdestruct..recommend help and understanding..empathy!so ask instead.."why" and maybe one day this poor child will find that hug in our concearns..this is a cry for help, nothing more, nothing less!!

  • what's more sad, that I voiced my opinion on how terrible maynard sounds or you writing 2 paragraphs attacking me personally? who's sad?

  • first off,i didn't attack you..i just reflected you back at yourself so you could see how you portray yourself.secondly,i gave you free psychiatric advice..bonus!!why can't you see it as what it is,a wake up call...so you don't continue antagonizing people in a very immature way....by purposely stating something that you knew would incite other's negative replies..you are looking for something that you've never received unsolicited, attention!but as most children do,you've found a way to have it!

  • nickel store psychology and denial don't change the fact that you wasted your life attacking me for an opinion. What's more laughable is that you can listen to this and think his voice isn't terrible.

OH MY GOD I VOICED MY OPINION ON YOUTUBE SERIOUSLY I MUST BE A FELON WITH SERIOUS EMOTIONAL ISSUES?!

  • it is sad that you misconstrue constructive criticism as an attack..Maynard's voice is multi-dimensional,meaning:he picks and chooses how he sounds to mate with the sound of the music..the music is raw and grungie,so he sang raw and grungie..so your oppinion is based in a lacking understanding of music, thus it is...?ok,i will answer.IGNORANT!!never said you were a "felon",but you just did..ever hear of projecting?it wasn't the oppinion,it was the antagonistic fashion with which you delivered it!

  • he does sound good, as usual. but range is not maynard's strength. that is kind of a slight on vocalists who do have a broad vocal style, unlike maynard, who while sounding good, just pretty much always stays in the same range.

  • I like to use my ears before my heart when listening to music. He sounds fucking awful. Just stfu already tsix, you attack me for my opinion and try to act smart on youtube, who is the one with issues?

  • hes def not a great singer in the traditional sense but like all the greats, he's got something very unique that connects with people. a great singer in my book :)

  • This is great. Those that got to see this, really

were treated right. I wish I had been there.

  • hell yeah! great combination.

  • tolvins amazing

  • i must say, melvins, tool, skeleton key, only bands of their real unique type

  • You've forgotten to mention anything Mike Patton touches. Everything he does is unlike anything else out there until some le douche comes along and thinks theres room for improvement. Guess thats why the Melvins have been around so long, King B and Mike Patton are on the same wavelength just different spectrums than the rest of us....

  • not true. the melvins would still be around regardless of mike patton

  • Actually I think Trey Spruance from Patton's old band Mr. Bungle has left ol mikey in the dust.

Patton's shtick has gotten a bit tired. Fantomas is at best, novelty, and that Peeping tom shit has got to go. Tomahawk isn't bad though, although it kind of repeats Faith No More a bit. Mike Patton is a genius, but has gotten a bit pretentious in the past few years. Nothing beats Mr. Bungle though.

  • i think fantomas is the best band mike was in but thats just my opinion.

  • PRIMUS too

  • THE match made in heaven!

  • omg ik ! :D

  • So much epic in one video.

  • This was the best song Off Peach's "Giving Birth To a Stone".

    ARKANSAS MOTHERFUCKING RAZORBACKS!!

  • yea..it says that in the description..

  • toovins

  • melvool

  • both great bands

  • LOl that was lame~stupid~and~uncalled~for!!!

  • no no no "Mool"

  • why dont we just come together and agree that its awesome? and that abortionists are annoying evil idiotfucks? -bill hicks xD

  • @Dexterecus Mool.

  • Melvins rulez

    Tool rulez

  • You too

  • you suck even more

  • Were they on tour together or something?

  • I dont know man.

They have played together a bunch of times but tour... i dont think so! But I'm not shure... anyone?

  • yeah they toured together

  • @Mecas92 ive heard they are good friends in private life but i dont know if they went on tour together

  • @Mecas92 Yes, they went on tour together about 6 or so years ago! I believe Buzzo helped write this track.

  • @dbradfute73 This song was written by Peach, the British band that Justin Chancellor was in originally, nowt to do with Buzz O.

  • @Mecas92 saw em in sydney together in 2003 i think or maybe bit later

  • the melvins opened for tool headlining on the aenima tour.

  • Melvins opened for Tool in 98.. but in the early 2000's Tool came out with an album ( the maggot) where they collaberated with many artists.. one being Tool. On that tour many of the guest artists joined for small stints.. great shows!

  • You misspelled The Crybaby. And by many artists you must refer to the shows with Leif Garret.

  • @Thecorrectopinion Yeam man. They did tours together.

  • tOOL ARE THE BEST BAND IVE SEEN LIVE...I have yet too see the melvins live

  • Hahaha the King moves around more then all of Tool combined.

  • Yeah, I also noticed Buzzo is more physical on stage. He really gets into it but still respectful that its not his stage. Tool guys are more mellow. Different strokes for different folks.

  • HAHAHAHAHA.

    I SEE BUZZ'S HAIR!

  • way cool, especially the bass solo.

  • What a great song. Thanks for sharing.

    Chris
