The miracle is how we are directed by the Spirit and go where we are genuinely needed and for this I will not apologise, not to any man. An example would be when I went through a hard time and the only person who knew my plight was God only to discover a box of food in front of my door and the person saying they had a feeling and was directed to help me, others have similar experiences to share. Im greatfull to my Lord, I know He is real and no man has cared as much for me as He has.
@llewellleo You are describing but events, that are due to altruism and accidental incident. Selective altruism is an evolved mechanism for the survival of the own tribe.
By repeating yopur "knowledge" (about Lordly presence and stuff) w/ out presenting FACTS what your knowledge concisely comprises, you only confirm your Faith Psychosis. Consider Lobotomy! A great relief is awaiting you...
You are ummh "greatfull" for your "Lord" for the fact that he provides you w/ fictional Hope (on eternal afterlife) which saturates your Dopamin Receptors. You can be likened to a Drug addict.
@llewellleo Moronism=CULT, they took Christianity because Joseph Smith was a con-artist. Then Smith threw in stories about angels, and the books of Nephi and then made up the story about finding the GOLDEN Plates in Upstate New York. The Morons were chased out of New York state, they went to Illinois, then they were chased out of Illinois and then they landed in Utah because no one else wanted to live next to a Salt Lake and founded the center for their CULT.Use your brain;it's easy to figure out.
I have seen entire areas tranformed, become more stable through the inspired programs of the Church which are many times copied by others who see they work. They work because of Gods guidance and we are greatfull to him and His wonderfull support. When it comes to many a show man who has hijacked religion for personal gain, using false healing to draw big crowds for this I have no time. I would like to know what is your definition of a miracle?
For every uncritical reader you suggested, that charity be a miracle. Namely by the inspiration through EXISTENCE of a Creator. Not, honestly by the IDEA that there MIGHT be a Creator.
I cannot test bcz I do not believe. But the friends that had prayed for a miracle for my friend Gerald, to regrow his legs he lost during an aeroplane crash, had been unsuccessful. Despite the sayings in the Bible, that (your) Creator will even relocate mountains on request.
I am simply the messenger of the truth. Do you deny the most basic truth? IF SO, and this is crucial, how can I assume that you are intersted in truth at all?
Do you akknowledge, that YOUR Creator evolved and mutated from a PolyTheistic fiction, and during this consolidation process, all sacred was turned into evil?
@kleenex3000 You are not the messenger of thruth, I do not need your version of it, thank you. My creator did not evolve from any form of fiction and I have had personal experiences to show me He is real and loves me so im frankly not interested in speculation created with the hope of dispelling reality by selfserving men.
@llewellleo Thank you for your personal testimony, and from abstaining from your previously uttered intention,to not reveal yourself further. This allows for a Diagnosis! Please consult our Mental Institution. Let me operate on your diseased brain that is infected from SEVERAL Alien HALLUCINOGENE Implants, I am sad to say. Your Temporal Lobes require a good portion of reductive surgery, in order to extract the complex system of psychotic belief. Afterwards you will perceive SOBERLY, the reality.
@kleenex3000 I do not need a diagnosis from you, once again no but thank you. So I have to limit myself, is that what they did to you or did you do it to yourself? There are numerous people out there in many a faith who have experienced real spiritual experiences and even miracles but I guess in your reality this is an imposibillity?! So if Iunderstand you correctly you want me to become a mindless and controlable drone. lol no way!
@llewellleo It is just a part of your APOMI (Acquired Personification Of Mental Illness) that has you perceive yourself as "not needing a diagnosis"
FYI:J(the)C, a resurrected Zommbee, is a mere CONSTRUCT,an evolved FICTION that you TAKE for real bcz it saturates your Dopamin Receptors
P(the)C is reality, the life giver, proven by ProCreation.Where does sperms come from? From J(the)C or rather from the Milkey River of Life, that is being SPIT from the actual Lord and Savior, VISIBLY,P(the)C?
My goodness, its called free will ,something you clearly do not understand and frankly from a fouled mouthed and corrupt individual I expect nothing other than destructive comments which i neighter need nor care for. Go analyse yourself. I neighter presented myself nor will a pay a cent to someone who loves playing games and is clearly not qualified to make such a complex analysis.
@llewellleo I read all that you say - and I must say - NOTHING indicates a shred of evidence for the !!!miracles!!! that YOU brought into the game and proclaimed, not I, so I kindly suggest that you do not change the subject. WHETHER my sayings are an Abomination to you faith-psychotic mind or not, have no impact on the FACT that no miracle so far WITHSTAND Scrutiny. Defend your Creator BETTER, rather than making a clown from it - IF you want rto be taken seriously.
@kleenex3000 Be taken serious by you, is that it?! Frankly I will not lower my standards as I have stated before and I made my beliefs clear. Interpred it as you wish.
You are basically saying "I shall not bow to the truth"
TRUTH is the Giver of Life in the Male Delta, the word that became resurrecting Flesh, Lord and Savior Penus(the)Christus.
Are you a Female then you are blessed w/ a tiny version, a copy still resurrectile but with other functions as we all know. Since when is the truth "foul mouth"?
@kleenex3000 No, I shall not submit myself to your version of the thruth. Seeing that you will not test it yet claim that you represent the thruth what is the point of discussing this with you seeing that you lack insight into the matter. By the way, any person who is interested in discovering the thuth will test and "question to discover the thruth for which Im certain you have no interest except to push filth.
If you carry Micro-Penus iow you are a Female, and you have SUBSTANTIATED fear before Penus(the)Christus, due to bad experience with undignified carriers of the Lord and Savior in the Male Delta, and you actually admit that, this would help a lot and I would be inclined to not bother you further w/ the truth.
(2)There is no miracles. There is rather, I am sad to say, SCAM in Abundance.
If you CLAIM miracles then you are part of scam
If you CLAIM miracles before yourself then you suffer from APOMI
FYI please GOOGLE:
God not heal amputees
Since when is critically questioning FICTIONS, such as the evolved, mutated Abrahamic Creator, equalling to "become a miondless, controllable drone" - quite the contrary applies
Presuming, that you will insist on "miracles that indicate the actual existence of the Abrahamic Creator" please show me, where in East-Africa the poor children, that your Creator calmly watches while they starve to death, suddenly feeds them, by miracle.
I am yet to perceive an actual (!) miracle as indicated above. Alternatively, that I come back to this discussion, and start to praise the fiction of the evolved J(the)C
@kleenex3000 Here is the miracle, through aid programs families are helped in so many ways.By drilling more boreholes cleaner drinking water is supplied and coming from Africa I also have seen other programs inspired by God ,lift people from poverty and hunger. He has directed us to care for the poor and by this I do not only mean suplly food for a period but in the end teach people to help themselves.
How is that a miracle? And how do you scientifically prove inspiration by G-D HONESTLY you should be saying "by the idea, to purchase heavenly Credits, by creating Earthly Welfare". This would be a base of comparative consideration, namely to non-religious charity. Do you actually assume that NOT-BelieverZ abstain from partaking in charity?
For more information on the church go to LDS.org. I believe in moral standards and have no time for men who wish to distort and corrupt. Why should I lower my standards to please those who are spiritually ill and unhappy ,rather than use foul and sick language find the way back, lift your standards, do some good in the world. It is true that a bitter fountain cannot bring forth sweet water but if a man turns to God and good anything is possible.
@llewellleo Do they actually receive their spiritual revelations though the ingestion of LSD, or are they still sticking to their good old MaHuang Tea, the famous mormon infusion, an extract of Ephedrine Alkaloids from the Leaves of Ephedra species?
@pressbox1492 Did you answer my question and in fact more than one person did see those plates including three men who never rescinded their testimonies. The next step would be for man to ask God in faith. Were you not tempted to question my intelligence because i do not agree with your point of view, what did you do? Did you show me Christian love or did you call me a fool albeit indirectly and tell me sir how is that Christian?
As is clear from the definition all religious movements can be desribed as a cult. The lastt defintion which I believe you equate with Mormonism does not fit so trying to understand your reasoning.
The money that is tithed is used to build buildings which benefit the communities wherein they are built, the poor also benefits from this as programs are run from these building to teach men basic skills to find work and be a builders in their communities, not burdens to those around them. this in turn generates more money spent on good causes and uplifting people and Mormons do donate directly to charities as well. The Church has an amazing relief program, go look it up.
The problem I have with Mormon tithing is that they have an accountant track your tithes, and they hold you accountable. Please correct me if I am wrong, but can you give 10% to a poor person on the street to help them? Or to a charity? It seems like they want to control your money. The unforgivable part however is that they withhold temple services without payment. It is cruel because Mormons actually believe the service benefits are eternal. You are eternally screwed unless you pay. Sad.
@bneyens . Going to the temple is not dependant on how much tithing you pay but very much on your integrity and honesty, let me ad perfection is not a requirement but the desire for it in ones life and honest action is. Of course Mormons believe in good book keeping but all donations are private and we are asked if we paid a full tithe, no one tells us we did not, it is very much dependant on the individuals level of integrity. Is being accountable really such a bad thing?
@llewellleo Well he was arrested for being a con man what does that tell you doesnt sound like an honorable "prophet" to me ..you are all sheep baaaaaaaaaa
@morace250 And is the Lord not my sheperd? Did he no leave the 99 for me.?The Saviour is my sheperd and I am a sheep, glad I have a God who loves me. He (Joseph)was arrested not because he was a con artist but because of his personal beliefs and it is ineteresting to note that the courts did not take the accusers serious because they were false swearers and far from honest.
@llewellleo In 1828 A few years after Joseph Smith was told by god to join no other church because mormonism was finally returning to earth Joseph Smith Applied to membership at a local methodist church..I know it looks bad but belive me he was just playing the feild a little..And no he was arrested for screwing people out of money everywhere he went form NewYork to Ohio,Mississippito Missouri to Illinois he had to keep moving to avoid angry mobs and prosecuting attorneys..Church is always right
@morace250 Joseph Smith being a false "prophet" is just the tip of the iceberg on how much nonsence you religion is..Ask yourself if Joseph Smith was so right why are we christian to now.
@morace250 Curios that the records that support your statement that Joseph was a member of the Methodist church do not exist at all and that there is no evidence to support what you have written. Third hand acounts do not count as evidence and this is what i think of the nonsense you presented as a fact. lol
Maybe not formal membership, but there's evidence he had an association with the Methodists. Bushman documented Smith "caught a spark of Methodism"...consider it what you wish and Orsamus Turner, in talking about his time with Smith in a debating group, said he served as an Exorter (sp?) for a while.
@llewellleo Exactly my point what evidence do you have that anything that came out of Joseph Smith's mouth was true..Indians are a lost tribe of israel..D.N.A shows not true Blacks werent allowed to be mormon and the only way they could get into heaven was as a slave..Why would you need a slave in heaven. And the golden plates he translated into "scripture" that contains not a single person or place name that has been shown to ever exist.
@morace250 DNA shows not true? I think your information is a bit outdated because traces of Levite DNA has been found in both South and North america including traces of Jewish DNA as well. Some dispute the fact claiming its from later Jewish immigration but with the dicoveries of ancient Jewish texts inscribed on stone there is indeed evidence to support the possibility that the Book of Mormons is true and that these folk are indeed descendants but mixed with Asian groups.
@morace250 Black folk have always had the right to membership in the church if they chose it and can enter heaven as all Gods children potentially can, not as slaves but as free men. You are selling a distortion.
@llewellleo Your religion changes things to conform to society..If Joseph Smith was such a "prophet" why not go by his original "scripture"When you come across a false prophet like joseph smith your own common sence and logic tells you if you cant trust someone to be a true prophet all the time how can you be trusted at all?..
@morace250 Yeah, funny how he was arrested for nearly everything in the book! An outlaw thrown out by an idiotic, retarded society. Funny, sounds a lot like out Founding Fathers. You're a retarded cow wasting away his life doing nothing that'll benefit you in any part of this life (or the next) and have proved that you clearly have no life being here. Mooooo!
@Yceb0x Your kidding right.. I assume you have your own computer look it up its in the new york paper he was arrested for coning people out of money..It was the trial of "Joseph Smith the glass looker" Trial Documents stated Smith claimed he had a certain stone which he looked at to dertermine where hidden treasures were in the bowels of the earth.Peering into objects for the pourpose of spiritual visions is known as scrying or crystal gazing
@Yceb0x And to show you how much nonsence it is i remember when they found the original Papyri text from whitch the book of abraham is said to of come. The mormon church was so excited they had the original manuscript that Smith transulated the book of abraham from.So they couldnt wait to have it transulated they new it was the same manuscript because all of the factsimilies ..and with Joseph Smith's handwriting and name on it along the margins where he would wright.
@Yceb0x It turned out to be a typical burial manuscript called "the book of Breathings" Had nothing to do with the book of Abraham.Right there and then the leaders of the mormon church knew Joseph Smith was a con man. Then they began the very slow repositing of the church.Repositing the product. Now they all want to be Christian you know because its been around for 2000yrs there safer that way..Joseph Smith is just the tip of the iceberg on how messed up the mormon religion really is....PUPPETS..
@llewellleo If you do your research properly then you will see that the church is a cult. Please answer this question directly. Do you believe that evil must exsist?
@pressbox1492 5 a : great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work (as a film or book); especially : such devotion regarded as a literary or intellectual fad
b : the object of such devotion
c : a usually small group of people characterized by such devotion
@pressbox1492 I know evil exits and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints opposes all manner of evil. I have yet to see a teaching flowing from it that teaches men to do evil one to another. Nowhere are we taught to murder, nor to steal or act dishonestly. Is this evil in your mind, teaching men to be good?
@llewellleo you are not getting it. I asked you if evil MUST exsist not DOES it exsist. The book of mormon teaches that evil MUST exsist so that we can know right from wrong. That belief is very wrong. Are you inteligent?
@pressbox1492 Evil is a matter of choice, it is not forced on anyone and yes for men to be able to choose good there must also be evil to challenge them. Take away evil and what will you have, spoilt men who can do nothing for themselves. Look at kids who are spoilt by their parents for instance. Christ was tempted and if it is not needed then why did God allow this. We are tempted and so the goats are seperated from the sheep.
@llewellleo So you are saying that you want evil to exsist? Wow, then you just justified child rape. I rather be in ignorant bliss than in a world where we are tempted by evil. sick
@pressbox1492 I do not want evil to exist and I did not justify nor ever will seeing that as a child I was a victim of abuse. When someone is hurt it is terrible but who allows these things to happen, men do. God gave men their freedom and put inspired men on this earth to stand up to and fight against evil. I am greatfull for life and its challenges, being able to grow and learn, better than being in a catatonic and ignorant state forever.
@llewellleo The people from the Ladder Day Saints are worshipping GOLDEN PLATES for a reason. They are food-hoarding HONEY BeeZ, and their G-D is the profit. Which is the Beast, MAMMON. The infantry of their community, are kept DUMB in order to not recognize the FACT, that this LADDER-TO-THE-EVIL-Church is a mere construct. Rather, the infantry occupies themselves w/ distorting REALITY by
@kleenex3000 lol, we do not worship golden plates, never have and we are definitely not as ignorant on what is happening in the world as you imagine. "We do not reject evolution but rather aspects of it which are not sound. You are not a Christian, are you?
@llewellleo The TRUTH hurts. WHO created you? Was it not the FLESH of your DAD, that resurrected, blessed your MOM w/ SACRED ORGASM, and spit the Milkey River Of Life into her CaveO'Creation, and 9 months later, a babee was born, YOU - or do you actually assume that a Stork brought you into thisd world, or another free-flöying object behind the 7 Firmaments was responsible? LEARN history:
@bneyens. Well you are not eternally screwed if you just don't pay your tithings, but you are if you are not honest, chaste, respecful, respectul with your body, respectful with with women, kind, if you don't obay the 10 COMMANDMENTS(NOT advices). See you may be screwed for so many things. I pay my tithings because the church helps Haiti, Africa, etc. that people that I don't see, AND I help the guys when I stop at the lights too, those that I can see. So far I have what I need and more
@tattoodfreeek We do not pay for the things you mention here. If you have ever attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints you would not say it is wrong. Live and let live, leave the judging to God.
@tattoodfreeek Where do you get that from? No one pays for blessing or forgiveness in the church (LDS). Unlike most churches, LDS bishops and priesthood are not paid anything for their time or for their service.
Romney to God: " My faith tells me to tax us all according to our means, and through the central agency of the church build great public works, aid the poor and educate our young - I will do this for you, Lord!"
God to Romney " Thank you, my Son!"
Romney to People : " As a man of God, it is HIS will to reduce taxes, reduce the central authority of State, reduce public works and reduce education."
According to the OT, tithing was an annual contribution leading into a month long celebration. One did not necessarily pay 10% of their cash, but would donate 10% of livestock for the feasts, or 10% of their lumber to build festival location. Imagine if at the end of every year, everyone in your town donated 10% of something for a month long celebration. Of course Many Religions have done a great job of using tithe for their own personal benefit.
Read your Doctrine and Covenants o ye latter-day saints. It says "10% of your INCREASE" that means, if I earn $100 and I have to pay $40 rent, $10 electricity $10 Gas $30 Groceries $5 savings account $3 clothing savings, the church gets $2 from that $100. That is just an example and it is SCRIPTURAL.
Study of the bible and archeology shows god had a wife and after the bablonian attack scribes thought god punished them for worshipping gods other than him so tried to write away the presence of Asharah gods wife. Who was by gods side when he came down to earth. Prettymuch all bible scholars not biased by faith agree that christianity in its foundation is not a monotheistic religion. The evidence for his wife is overwhelming, in the book and in archeology.
hebrews 8;13 call this covenant new made the first one obsolete. tithing was a old covenant thing you have to give a tithe but under the new it is not but it not wrong to give one.
ther is a way to verify the origin of the video? I no doubt most religions are willing to brainwash kids to get as much money as they can but I want to have the data complete about what particular group is responsible for this
Actually Tithing is Biblical. The Book Of Mormon reference that they mentioned at the beginning of this video, comes straight out of the Old Testament of the Bible Malachi 3:10. It is also discussed in Genesis 14:20 and 20:22, Hebrews 4:7-10, Malachi 3:8-18.
@katherinebrady88 Actually it is old testament law. We are not under law but under Grace. The NT teaches free will giving, each according to what he is able. If we tithe we must observe all of the law, such as circumsion, kosher diet, blue tassles on our clothes, sacrifices and so on. Paul never taught the Gentile church to observe such things and that doing so was to put yourself back into spiritual bondage.
@thesignsoflife7 Being a former Mormon, I now have Sundays off and 10% more money. It's easy to find better uses for that money - a reputable charity in Bolivia (where I served my mission) and my community theatre. Thanks for your comment to the video.
@thesignsoflife7 Excellent! Jesus said "I came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it" the Law will remain until Heaven and Earth pass away. Paul says the Law is perfect. In Acts the apostles struggle with the concept of whether or not circumcision will be mandated for the Church.........they decide that burdening the Way with law will not be good. Jesus said "My yoke is light" God said that He will pour out His blessings on His people if they tithe...this is true today.
@thesignsoflife7 We didn't. You quoted Corinthians perfectly (great job bro!) :) But the thing is that IS the old covenant, give ALL your tithes. The new covenant is God has given us all we have, all he asks is 10% in return. That 10% does not go to the workers of the church (bishops, stake presidents, etc), it goes to building churches, temples, the clerk's house (for donation or emergency), etc. The only church members who are paid are the temple workers (at minimum wage). Have a great day.
@Yceb0x And the Mormon contractors, presidency, bishopric, and those going on missions (not all pay their own way) etc.. yeah, you missed a few people that get paid. That being said... why do you regard the OT as invalid? Are the laws of god no longer valid simply because they are old? Can you say the OT is not valid and then say god is unchanging? Didn't Jesus say he was not here to abolish the law? So Christians should still be killing people that work on Saturday, etc...
@whanethewhip LDS bishops do not get paid, ever! The only people in the church who receive any money from the church are those who are employed by the church or church leaders who work full-time for the church such as the First Presidency or Quorum of the Twelve. They must give up their own careers for the rest of their lives in order to give their full attention to the Church (of 14 million people).
...ever looked at the BofD for the church's corps? Guess who gets paid big bucks.... the leadership who hold directorships on multiple corps. That's something the church cannot hide.
Nice try at deception, but the facts prove you a liar
@Yceb0x THANK YOU!!! I think that is one of the biggest misconceptions about the LDS church. I know you made this comment a month ago but I felt like thanking you anyway. :)
@Yceb0x Temple workers are not paid. The temple president is paid because he has to give up his day job but after a few years he's released and goes back to what he was doing before.
@Jack44M . Actually if you go to lds.org there are 2 conferences anualy and they report to the last cent, what did the church spend the money on, details. There is a magazine that every member may have access to, called Ensign(Liahona), there you can see the report again. That information is public. I have been the secretary who counts the tithings received every Sunday and we count to the last cent, even 1.58 dollars because is sacred. Tithing is sacrad I know that.
Do you have a link....I've searched and cannot locate it on the lds site.
But, I did find a couple of interesting items. On the membership report....why don't they note the number of members who left the church? Is it because so many are leaving; in fact, in numbers not seen since the Kirtland Banking Scandal.
Also, a quote from a speech:"It claims to be the word of God—every sentence, every verse, every page." If so, why are changes continuing with each printing?
@Jack44M a percentage of people do leave the Church but they represent a small percentage. Many choose to remain members but do not attent often and are considered less active. Some do not attend at all, reminds me of the allegory of the sower. The changes are not as dramatic as you wish others to believe but is rather related to grammer and clearer expression.
@pressbox1492 Of course he doesn't get paid. Why do you think he has a second job?You only think that because you're some gullible prick that's so convinced and so easily fooled by all those leotarded anti's out there that you think the church is just some shady cult that has successfully convinced the world that we're nice through acts of service and unpaid volunteering. Hmm, maybe it's because we actually ARE christians and not some bitty's finding ways to bash other religions.
10% of what you earn isnt much. you are not forced to pay tithing at all. but i know for a fact that i was blessed when i payed my tithing. its up to the person themselves what they wanna do with their money and dont need people like you telling them how wrong it is or whatever. if you dont like the mormons just dont associate yourselves with them instead of spreading false things about them.
Whats the big deal? I'm not morman but running any church takes money. They have bills just like we do, they need to make repairers, and fund out reach programs. If no one ever gave money to their church then how will those things be paid for? I'm talking about the churches that do hardly anything but ask for money, like the "churches" on t.v. but if you attend a church then you need to give what you can afford.
@shavaughn1980 I agree that it takes money to run a church, and if someone attends a church, then they should help support it. Having said that, I'm troubled by the way many churches spend that money.
It really troubles me when that money is spent on lavish buildings and fixtures.
LDS's $3billion dollar shopping mall, or LDS's illegal political contributions, are as repugnant as "Reverend" Creflo Dollars' opulent lifestyle.
@CounterCultureLives Well I have to say that I agree with you again. I don't know what mormon churches are like but my grandfather goes to a big church like that. It even has a coffee shop. I don't really agree with those kind of churches but I don't put anyone down for attending them. If they think that is the church that will help bring them closer to the Lord then so be it. Its just not my kind of church. I honestly think the money could be put to better use like for out reach programs.
@RoyaltyySukahh So, The Bible teaches that "the love of money the root of all evil", but LDS wants 10% of your gross. And yes, I have no doubt that God needs a three BILLION dollar shopping center. Guess "God" also needs a place to shop??
@CounterCultureLives Who said it was going to be for evil? Yes, we do pay tithing but that is in order for the church to keep running. The Lord's house is a house of ORDER. This keeps order and we are to keep it. That was a douche question anyways. It is only 10% not 50%. The benefits of tithing is far greater than the small 10% we give. THE CHURCH IS TRUE.
@CounterCultureLives what 3 billion dollar shopping mall are you even talking about!? You don't even know what you're talking about. Have you ever read the Book of Mormon? Yeah, you haven't. It is not BS --it goes hand in hand with Bible. It also says it in the bible, but you probably don't read that either. Quit acting like you know whats up with the church.
So what is wrong with this video? Tithing is a Biblical concept.
All churches are built on tithes & offerings.
It's just like so many bashing Kirk Cameron because of his comments on homosexuality.
The world will call good evil, & evil good...

For every uncritical reader you suggested, that charity be a miracle. Namely by the inspiration through EXISTENCE of a Creator. Not, honestly by the IDEA that there MIGHT be a Creator.

I am simply the messenger of the truth. Do you deny the most basic truth? IF SO, and this is crucial, how can I assume that you are intersted in truth at all?
Do you akknowledge, that YOUR Creator evolved and mutated from a PolyTheistic fiction, and during this consolidation process, all sacred was turned into evil?
kleenex3000 6 days ago

Afterwards you will perceive SOBERLY, the reality.
kleenex3000 5 days ago

@kleenex3000 Be taken serious by you, is that it?! Frankly I will not lower my standards as I have stated before and I made my beliefs clear. Interpred it as you wish.

@llewellleo "I will niot lower my standards"
You are basically saying "I shall not bow to the truth"
TRUTH is the Giver of Life in the Male Delta, the word that became resurrecting Flesh, Lord and Savior Penus(the)Christus.
Are you a Female then you are blessed w/ a tiny version, a copy still resurrectile but with other functions as we all know. Since when is the truth "foul mouth"?
kleenex3000 5 days ago
@kleenex3000 No, I shall not submit myself to your version of the thruth. Seeing that you will not test it yet claim that you represent the thruth what is the point of discussing this with you seeing that you lack insight into the matter. By the way, any person who is interested in discovering the thuth will test and "question to discover the thruth for which Im certain you have no interest except to push filth.
llewellleo 5 days ago
@llewellleo
You should be honest before yourself and rather admit:
I do not appreciate HOW kleenex3000 PICTURES the truth."
There is no need to TEST, that Penus(the)Christus is the LIFE-Giver, through his Milkey River of Life.
This might be different, particularly in some insects, where specimens develop out of NOT-fertilized eggs. GOOGLE:

Presuming, that you will insist on "miracles that indicate the actual existence of the Abrahamic Creator" please show me, where in East-Africa the poor children, that your Creator calmly watches while they starve to death, suddenly feeds them, by miracle.
I am yet to perceive an actual (!) miracle as indicated above. Alternatively, that I come back to this discussion, and start to praise the fiction of the evolved J(the)C
kleenex3000 5 days ago
@kleenex3000 Here is the miracle, through aid programs families are helped in so many ways.By drilling more boreholes cleaner drinking water is supplied and coming from Africa I also have seen other programs inspired by God ,lift people from poverty and hunger. He has directed us to care for the poor and by this I do not only mean suplly food for a period but in the end teach people to help themselves.
llewellleo 5 days ago
@llewellleo
How is that a miracle? And how do you scientifically prove inspiration by G-D HONESTLY you should be saying "by the idea, to purchase heavenly Credits, by creating Earthly Welfare". This would be a base of comparative consideration, namely to non-religious charity. Do you actually assume that NOT-BelieverZ abstain from partaking in charity?
kleenex3000 5 days ago
For more information on the church go to LDS.org. I believe in moral standards and have no time for men who wish to distort and corrupt. Why should I lower my standards to please those who are spiritually ill and unhappy ,rather than use foul and sick language find the way back, lift your standards, do some good in the world. It is true that a bitter fountain cannot bring forth sweet water but if a man turns to God and good anything is possible.

Sad.
bneyens 3 weeks ago

@morace250 You have not looked at the facts have you?
llewellleo 1 week ago
@morace250 Curios that the records that support your statement that Joseph was a member of the Methodist church do not exist at all and that there is no evidence to support what you have written. Third hand acounts do not count as evidence and this is what i think of the nonsense you presented as a fact. lol
llewellleo 1 week ago
@llewellleo
Jack44M 1 week ago
@llewellleo Exactly my point what evidence do you have that anything that came out of Joseph Smith's mouth was true..Indians are a lost tribe of israel..D.N.A shows not true Blacks werent allowed to be mormon and the only way they could get into heaven was as a slave..Why would you need a slave in heaven. And the golden plates he translated into "scripture" that contains not a single person or place name that has been shown to ever exist.
morace250 1 week ago
@morace250 DNA shows not true? I think your information is a bit outdated because traces of Levite DNA has been found in both South and North america including traces of Jewish DNA as well. Some dispute the fact claiming its from later Jewish immigration but with the dicoveries of ancient Jewish texts inscribed on stone there is indeed evidence to support the possibility that the Book of Mormons is true and that these folk are indeed descendants but mixed with Asian groups.
llewellleo 1 week ago
@morace250 Black folk have always had the right to membership in the church if they chose it and can enter heaven as all Gods children potentially can, not as slaves but as free men. You are selling a distortion.
llewellleo 1 week ago
@llewellleo Your religion changes things to conform to society..If Joseph Smith was such a "prophet" why not go by his original "scripture"When you come across a false prophet like joseph smith your own common sence and logic tells you if you cant trust someone to be a true prophet all the time how can you be trusted at all?..
morace250 1 week ago
@morace250 lol in fact the opposite, it does not conform, it sets standards.

@Yceb0x Your kidding right.. I assume you have your own computer look it up its in the new york paper he was arrested for coning people out of money..It was the trial of "Joseph Smith the glass looker" Trial Documents stated Smith claimed he had a certain stone which he looked at to dertermine where hidden treasures were in the bowels of the earth.Peering into objects for the pourpose of spiritual visions is known as scrying or crystal gazing
morace250 1 week ago
@Yceb0x And to show you how much nonsence it is i remember when they found the original Papyri text from whitch the book of abraham is said to of come. The mormon church was so excited they had the original manuscript that Smith transulated the book of abraham from.So they couldnt wait to have it transulated they new it was the same manuscript because all of the factsimilies ..and with Joseph Smith's handwriting and name on it along the margins where he would wright.
morace250 1 week ago
@Yceb0x It turned out to be a typical burial manuscript called "the book of Breathings" Had nothing to do with the book of Abraham.Right there and then the leaders of the mormon church knew Joseph Smith was a con man. Then they began the very slow repositing of the church.Repositing the product. Now they all want to be Christian you know because its been around for 2000yrs there safer that way..Joseph Smith is just the tip of the iceberg on how messed up the mormon religion really is....PUPPETS..

Definition of a cult. 1 : formal religious veneration : worship
2 : a system of religious beliefs and ritual; also : its body of adherents
3 : a religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious; also : its body of adherents
4 : a system for the cure of disease based on dogma set forth by its promulgator

b : the object of such devotion
c : a usually small group of people characterized by such devotion

@pressbox1492 I know evil exits and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints opposes all manner of evil. I have yet to see a teaching flowing from it that teaches men to do evil one to another. Nowhere are we taught to murder, nor to steal or act dishonestly. Is this evil in your mind, teaching men to be good?
llewellleo 1 week ago
@llewellleo you are not getting it. I asked you if evil MUST exsist not DOES it exsist. The book of mormon teaches that evil MUST exsist so that we can know right from wrong. That belief is very wrong. Are you inteligent?
pressbox1492 1 week ago
@pressbox1492 Evil is a matter of choice, it is not forced on anyone and yes for men to be able to choose good there must also be evil to challenge them. Take away evil and what will you have, spoilt men who can do nothing for themselves. Look at kids who are spoilt by their parents for instance. Christ was tempted and if it is not needed then why did God allow this. We are tempted and so the goats are seperated from the sheep.

I am a Mormon!
katherinebrady88 4 months ago 3
@katherinebrady88 Actually it is old testament law. We are not under law but under Grace. The NT teaches free will giving, each according to what he is able. If we tithe we must observe all of the law, such as circumsion, kosher diet, blue tassles on our clothes, sacrifices and so on. Paul never taught the Gentile church to observe such things and that doing so was to put yourself back into spiritual bondage.

Tithing is for the Old Covenant.
Jesus came and removed the Old Covenant with its rules and ordinances. We are now under the New Covenant.
Read 2 Corinthians 9:7
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
I wish Mormons would stop misquoting Christian scripture.

Yeah...if you're an Old Testament Jew...
Are you?

@rpavich Don't remember that in any scriptural reference I've seen. But if you truly believe that, it's your choice. Have a nice day.

I don't get what you're saying...you think I'm saying that the bible must say "yes...if you're an old testament jew"....?
Are you a lunatic?
rpavich 2 months ago
@Yceb0x And the Mormon contractors, presidency, bishopric, and those going on missions (not all pay their own way) etc.. yeah, you missed a few people that get paid. That being said... why do you regard the OT as invalid? Are the laws of god no longer valid simply because they are old? Can you say the OT is not valid and then say god is unchanging? Didn't Jesus say he was not here to abolish the law? So Christians should still be killing people that work on Saturday, etc...
whanethewhip 2 months ago

@Yceb0x
How do you know what the money goes for? Do the church send you a detailed accounting of how it's spent?
Nope....they won't even tell their members. People who hide have something to hide.......
Jack44M 1 month ago

@DanielB0531
Jack44M 2 weeks ago
@Jack44M a percentage of people do leave the Church but they represent a small percentage. Many choose to remain members but do not attent often and are considered less active. Some do not attend at all, reminds me of the allegory of the sower. The changes are not as dramatic as you wish others to believe but is rather related to grammer and clearer expression.

@llewellleo
Couple of points of clarification:
.....define "small percentage". 10%, 2%, 40%?
.....how is changing the actual names and identities considered "grammar and clearer expression"?

@Yceb0x Really? Do you think the president doesn't get paid
pressbox1492 1 week ago

@shavaughn1980 A $3,000,000,000 shopping mall is not a church.

@CounterCultureLives I agree
shavaughn1980 5 months ago
@shavaughn1980 I agree that it takes money to run a church, and if someone attends a church, then they should help support it. Having said that, I'm troubled by the way many churches spend that money.
It really troubles me when that money is spent on lavish buildings and fixtures.
LDS's $3billion dollar shopping mall, or LDS's illegal political contributions, are as repugnant as "Reverend" Creflo Dollars' opulent lifestyle.
CounterCultureLives 5 months ago
@CounterCultureLives Well I have to say that I agree with you again. I don't know what mormon churches are like but my grandfather goes to a big church like that. It even has a coffee shop. I don't really agree with those kind of churches but I don't put anyone down for attending them. If they think that is the church that will help bring them closer to the Lord then so be it. Its just not my kind of church. I honestly think the money could be put to better use like for out reach programs.
shavaughn1980 5 months ago
@shavaughn1980 *typo, I meant to say I'm NOT talking about churches that hardly do anything but ask for money.
shavaughn1980 5 months ago
dont lie. theres only ONE tithing. its only 10% of giving back what God has given you.
RoyaltyySukahh 5 months ago
@RoyaltyySukahh So, The Bible teaches that "the love of money the root of all evil", but LDS wants 10% of your gross. And yes, I have no doubt that God needs a three BILLION dollar shopping center. Guess "God" also needs a place to shop??
CounterCultureLives 5 months ago

@RoyaltyySukahh Wrote: "The Lord's house is a house of ORDER."
Yes, buying forged documents and making illegal political contributions is part of that order".
Then, there's the $3 BILLION dollar $hopping mall. Doin' The Lord$ work on Black Friday, I guess??
Your church is total BS. The Book of Mormon is poorly written religions fiction; nothing more.
