@poi19831 dai...come cavolo fai a dirlo...è vero che ai tempi di Showbiz, Origin Of Symmetry, e fino ad Absolution hanno fatto un rock più "puro"...ma dai, nel 2006 ti hanno sfornato pezzi come Supermassive Black Hole, Knights of Cydonia e Map of the Problematique...e poi ti hanno cacciato un disco come Resistance dove hanno, a mio parere, coniato un nuovo genere di rock misto a mille influenze...sound dall'elettronico all'indie, un rock neoprogressivo che secondo me spacca!

Cmq come ho scritto anche prima, hai ragione...dopo Origin non hanno fatto più quel rock puro stile pezzi come Stockholm Syndrome, Uno, Muscle Museum, Hyper Music o Futurism...però io non riesco a smettere di ascoltarli comunque...sono una droga, e anche l'ultimo disco mi è piaciuto assai...ha delle tonalità che in alcuni pezzi mi ricordano i Queen! :)

Yet they do not they experiment try new things other combinations of musical instruments try to make new sounds, infact they are the opposite of commercial, just because they get alot more recognition these days is only due to their larger fanbase which is natural to grow.

Just the way Muse have grown over the past few years is incredible, and their concerts are unmatched in quality. Even to Radioheads. That said, I would hardly consider Radiohead a "rock" band anymore anyways.

Muse are by far my favourite band, I like anything they do, the old stuff was brilliant, especially Origin and Absolution, but I can accept them changing it a bit and trying new things to mix it up a bit and have some variation, like I also love Resistance and Black Holes has some awesome tunes. If they stayed with the same sound people would be saying "oh they need to change their sound, everything just sounds the same"

They opened up for My Chemical Romance (who I was there to see).

My friend had came to see them and I had never heard them before.

They were really good, very distant (they seemed more into the music than the crowd which was nice because they played well).
