@182jUlieN44 Great music you play, i like your sound, my name is Jonas, and i play keybord - sentiseiser Yamaha, i like a play in my band. We have driffen name every year. but is a hard time, this year and befor year. I live in Denmark, nort Sjaelland.
Magic. Brilliant album (although wasn't this the catalyst for the start of the end of PF with RW in it? Similar in some respects to Gabriel's LLDOB with Genesis?), I enjoy Bob G's portrayal of "Pink", am a long time fan of Bob Hoskins (the manager) and love the fact that Kiwi James Laurensen plays the father. For me personally, everything about this works. Sold the DVD I had when moving a few years back, so will have to go out and get a new copy.
@oicwatudidthare Hmm yeah, had that impression also but wasnt sure. But a small missinformation does not discard the whole argument. A lot other Beatle songs could be quoted for that purpouse. And plz, "FYI is all"?? Think that's the bitchiest most arrogant way to inform someone of a small error that, as I said, doesnt alter anything. That says a lot about you really, and not in the good way.
I am always headed for trouble when I begin to take the moral "high road". Let ppl be ppl and just let go.I do not take anyone very seriously. Must ppl. came from a state of want or need. My job is to spot it and not allow myself to fall into it. I have learned to become comfortably aware. Today I practice lifting the veil and begin to see things differently. Let them stay discomfortably numb. Not for me. Love the moment.
I use to shoot alot of heroin. This song, for me, is all about shooting heroin and trying to connect to a misinformed world. All my dreams were washed away when I began to realize not only were my parents F'd up but so wasn't the churches, cops, nuns, doctors, teachers, principles. I could only relate to Burrows, R.D.Lang, and Al Capone.Heroin made life more tolerable.Could navigate thru it w/o having to connect to all the bullshit that sociey planted in ppl's heads. Clean now 26 yrs.Society Sucks
I know what you mean KissRock 419, same here, also got some tough situtions I got to face even going though one now. But Floyd always got that great atomsphere that we all can relate
I've been going through ALOT of tough times in my life. My childhood was ruined by pricks at school, I had to bury my own dog a week before Christmas, I could go on and on. And since I have autism, it's really hard for me to live a "Normal" life like everyone else has. Ever since I listened to The Wall I went over all of the bad things that happened to me past and present.(bad idea) I feel I could do stuff I never would have done before like standing up for myself. Thank you Pink Floyd. :)
Guys it's just some good music and everyone is entitled to they're own opinion even though they should keep their hateful comments off the video. Just chill, stop arguing and enjoy the show!
Beatles does have some simple pop songs that really say nothing like "Eight Days a Week", but seriously, saying theyre overrated is being a musical idiot. "Hey Jude", "Let it Be", "Eleanor Rigby", "Imagine", the list goes on and on of beautiful and meaningful music they made. It's different then Pink Floyd, cant compare evrything. Pink vs Beatles, Pink vs Queen, Queen vs Beatles... sometimes you just gotta admit they're all awsome and unique in theyre own way, instead of pointlessly comparing.
@ARCLincoln The whole trip was an evolutionary thing my friend. It began with the Big Band Swing and then Elvis and Motown and the Beatles etc..all were completely iconic. Then things changed and Abbey Road was basically the end of the Beatles era (Let it Be)...except for their legacy. I was fortunate enough to live thru all but the BBE. Pink Floyd, Blue Oyster Cult, Zepplin, Moody Blues...the list is immeasurable. We were blessed to have Pink Floyd...comparing evolution is pointless.
@ARCLincoln well what about Beatles fans? I know a lot of them that go to my school and they could hardly name me any songs other than "Hey Jude" "Let It Be" and John Lennon's "Imagine". Yet they carry Beatles merchandise like shirts, wristbands, and watches. Besides that, they go around saying stuff like "John Lennon is a beast" and "The Beatles are the greatest band in the world" Don't get me wrong because I like the Beatles, but some of the fans are tarnishing their reputation.
@JANGOCLONE46 I am a Beatles fan and my favorite songs are "Come together", "Happines is a warm gun", "Everybody got something to hide except me and my monkey", "Polythene Pam", "Rocky Raccon" and many others.... I think that kind of songs are master pieces... :D
@ARCLincoln I don't think they're overrated, I just think they are getting more reputation than floyd which is sad because floyd is just as good or better

@ARCLincoln John Lennon wrote Imagine after the Beatles broke up. FYI is all.
oicwatudidthare 3 weeks ago

JANGOCLONE46 2 weeks ago
@JANGOCLONE46 I am a Beatles fan and my favorite songs are "Come together", "Happines is a warm gun", "Everybody got something to hide except me and my monkey", "Polythene Pam", "Rocky Raccon" and many others.... I think that kind of songs are master pieces... :D

@ARCLincoln I don't think they're overrated, I just think they are getting more reputation than floyd which is sad because floyd is just as good or better
