it seems every episode was to be continued on another one

i think there may have one or two single episodes

@MikeD3691 When Justice League first started, a lot of the episodes were always in either parts of 2 or 3. Only until the series got to Justice League Unlimited was when they started doing only 1 part episodes. I hope that helps explain it.  If not, just to look up the episode list on Wikipedia and you'll see what I mean.
