  • It's rude to ask for advice on grip styles and throwing advice during a weekly event or tourny, Any vids comming up on different grips?

  • I've been playing for over 16 years now. Still can't consistantly throw a side arm drive! The way I learned was all very old school. No one back then was using a power grip we all kept it loose. Then a few years later everyone started throwing 400 plus feet with the power grip. The jump/loft put came out of no where and a 58 at Mount Airy was no longer anything to brag about! I was in a foursome with Jeff V. when he shot a 46! The week before he shot a 47.

  • I've been throwing 1 finger disc golf forehands for 7 years, and 2 finger ultimate forehands for 8 years. You wont hurt your wrist, and you aren't a freak of nature. Just throw what works.

  • how far can you crank a flick, nikko?

  • not in my case. ill try to put up a video of me throwing sum.

  • @MrNa8er you better be a freak of nature because flicking with one finger will destroy your finger/wrist if you're cranking them

  • @cshov i guess i am. i throw lhbh and the i throw my flicks with my right hand. i get almost 360 ft. with my flicks. alot of local pros has told me the same thing about hurting my finger/ wrist with useing one finger but its the only way i can throw my flicks. ive tryed two fingers but its impossible for me to throw like that.

  • one finger works way better. aleast for me it does.

  • @MrNa8er Two fingers gives more control and power.
