They've about crossed all barriers in the melodic death metal genre and progressively adapted a more alternative metal sound. Compared to In Flames' The Jester Race - Clayman era I would say Blinded Colony and In Flames are about equally awesome (with Blinded Colony having an awesome band to crib from and In Flames still defining their sound back then)
