If you don't show the ratio alongside the death statistic, all you have is a weak guess. @ZzDe0 . If you look at the deaths of police over the past 10 years the ratio male to female deaths it's 12:1. If you look at the ratio of hours worked by male to female officers it's 3:1. So adjusting to take into account the different numbers of hours worked, male officers are still 4 times as likely to be killed as female officers.

I also think its common sense that night shifts are more dangerous but the point is men who work them DON'T get paid more. The women have seen to that.

I think it would be much more informative if you showed the percentage of men/women died as compared to the number of men/women in service (that is, how likely you are to die as a policeman/woman). I think genuine martial arts trained females are a good idea to subdue out of control women. As the victim role can't be played so easily and women are less inclined to attack people who are ready to hurt them physically with out any judgement from society. And serious danger by EU criteria means people actively in the process of trying to kill people. Also I think that they're prohibited from using firearms against anything less than firearms. In the 20 years I'm able to comprehend the news, I've only heard of a police-suspects shootout ONCE and that was a couple of months ago (I live in Slovenia). Crime just doesn't happen here the way it does in the US. I'd bet that EU cops would get butchered in the US very quickly.

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the man hand his hat to the female officer before kicking the door down.

"Here you go. Hold this while Daddy goes to work. That's a good girl."

But there was one sticking point with the video to me. You mentioned that of 4000 officers killed only 44 were women. I would find a per capita stat comparing the percentage of women killed vs. the percentage actually in the force much more compelling.

@shaunmc3433 Yep. Considering that women make up roughly 20 per cent of the UK police force then, if risk was equal, one would expect the number of female officers dying in the line of duty to be approximately 800 versus 3200 male deaths.

As it is, the figures are 44 women and 3956 men.

Historical ratios are different, but most deaths have occurred when the 80/20 ratio was representative. Comprehensive police stats are not available and therefore, my analysis is necessarily illustrative.

If Denmark has a registry of police officer deaths and injuries, the story will be the same.

What I've noticed, and what manwomanmyth has pointed out in one of his other videos is that when men are the ones killed or injured, the description "police officers" is used...but when women are the ones killed or injured, the media is often quick to point out THEIR gender!
